really disappointing .. met with my family for breakfast 9am in the morning. The café was nice and quiet only two other tables taken, the tables are small for four people, especially if you are eating, i asked if we could push two tables together which the miserable waitress refused even though three men where sitting on the next table, which had two tables pushed together!!! i could see they were about to leave, so when the waitress brought the drinks i suggested we move there as we were all going to order breakfast. the waitress said no and then pulled the two tables apart, so there are rules for some but not for others !!!! we left and went to a lovely place just up the road The Otto Lounge where the staff where lovely and food delightful. such a shame new business dont know how to treat customers, we were not asking for much especially as the café was empty.

Can only assume they had a bad day. Sourdough was too chewy, poached eggs had a hint of vinegar and although I could tell the bacon was good quality it was rushed with white almost raw fat. The food was delivered VERY quickly , maybe too quickly. Good coffee and good ingredients but poorlyPrepared on this occasion

Lovely place, Couldn’t fault the food alway on par ! Cakes are lovely too and always a lovely cup of coffee. Barista sometimes seem a little busy but otherwise lovely

Nicely served garlic mushrooms on sourdough but £8.50 really. Empty cafe on a Saturday afternoon with no atmosphere at all. My wife's sourdough toast was so hard she could only eat the middle of it. There are better cheaper options in Heswall in my opinion.

The food here is the best it's ever been. Really inventive and tasty.So pleased for the two guys who run it and now lots of other local places! They deserve their success.

Great place for breakfast, we ate here 2 days in a row whilst in the area for a wedding nearby.Friendly staff, delicious food and good quality of coffee!

Really nice coffee and even nicer food from here. The chef puts effort into their dishes, I just had scrambled egg and bacon but it looked like a 5 star meal. The chorizo and eggs were incredible.

Coffee is overpriced- chai latte from a tin you can buy from any shop? Coffee warm, not hot.Servers seem like they don’t want to be there, very rude. We were ignored at the counter and nearly left. No smiles, poor atmosphere. Won’t be going again - better coffee shops in Heswall where you will get a smile at least!
