ICE Cleaning

Sadly we had an electrical fire at our house. I found details of Ice Cleaning on line, and was happy to speak to Zoe, who had a friendly manner showing compassion & was very supportive in addressing our requirements. (A real ambassador to the business!)We had Mike survey the property, who was very professional & clear with what would be required, time frame and more importantly making us understand the works required. Once the price was agreed, we had an initial visit of two technicians Ory & Lewis who were straight on the job & worked along side well with our builders. Their work was very labour intensive, but not once did they complain & carried on for 8 hours everyday, over 6 days. They left the site every evening very clean and tidy.The MD of Ice Cleaning - James visited the site several times and also got his hands dirty to our surprise.Our overall impression of Ice Cleaning is very positive, and would recommend them highly.

So where to start they over charged me to treat my house by £1340. Wouldn’t refund me the right amount. Shared my personal data with a 3rd party company including emails with my bank account information on.They turned up to complete 9 stage removal of mould didn’t even clean the mould of the windows and walls. Didn’t fog as apparently technician had his van robbed the night before. He then came back to complete more work and said the mould had gone etc.Please see photos of what my house looks like after the technician had attended twice. I have complained to the 2 directors and have had the chairman contact me which I was informed by email he wasn’t NO MOULD EXPERT! Rather wording at its a company you’re running. You should know the product inside out to be honest.The company completely scammed me for money. When speaking with sales consultant Reilly I told him I wasn’t sure how many rooms had mould in. He said he will quote for 9 rooms and readjust once they visit the property. I was made to pay £2,340 before they even attended the property . I was told they would adjust the price accordingly. When I phoned up as only 3 room apparently needed to be treated o was told by the sales manager who was rude and had no customer service skills that they do t refund money. I had to fight with him. He had tp listen to the sales calls and then said he would only refund £300.Which didn’t sounds right to be honest. I had to get somebody independent to mystery shop them to get the correct price for a 3 room mould removal with 9 stages the quote came out at £1,018 inc VAT.I then called asked for the directors email and lady on the phone refused to give their email address apparently they are not allowed to give that information out another lie because I found there full details on the company website.I am still awaiting the rest of my refund….. plus the work that has been carried out a 2nd time is nowhere near up to standard. You will see from photos posted. I explained to them I have a small child who is only 14 months old and it’s dangerous to her health. I had to explain this to them!!They obviously didn’t give a dam!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! UNLESS YOU HAVE THOUDANDS OF POUNDS TO WASTE. They will keep you charging and just adding charges on top of charges. They add a special term that quote can keep changing and they will keep squeezing you out for every penny. Paid over £900 for the mold to come back in 1 week. Spoke to their team and they said we have to pay an additional £1500 for a dry wall solution and since the team has to come out again, we would need to pay that £900 fee again. On top of all that, there is still no guarantee and quote can change again". These type of companies should be held accountable for the type of terms they offer to their consumers.Edit.They basically want to install dehumidifiers for a week and charge £1700 for it. You can buy dehumidifiers yourself from Amazon. I bought a dehumidifier for £200 that has resolved the issue. Please buy yourself a dehumidifier rather than paying them £2800+ to still not get a guarantee and again the 'quote might change'. I bought an Avalla branded dehumidifier and it works wonders."

Did a good job cleaning up but be aware, the quotation is just a guide. When they turned they increased the cost by 60%. This is late at night on a Friday. With no option, I had to say yes. However the guys doing the work, worked hard and did an excellent job so no complaints.

ONE STAR IS ONE TOO MANY - DO NOT HIRE THESE SCAM ARTISTSI hired this company as I moved into a house (9th December 2022) where a smoker previously lived for an extended period of time. Upon moving in, I decided I needed a professional nicotine cleaning service as I have 2 children (1yo & 5yo at the time) & thought it would be safest for their health. Hired Ice cleaning, with first service performed on 15th December 2022. Upon arriving, men both said house doesn't seem to need cleaning" although there is a horrible nicotine smell

Would recommend this company. They sorted out a delicate hoarding situation, with efficiency and compassion. The staff worked so hard, and listened to exact instructions with what had to be kept. Big shout out to Jack and Mark. There was slight confusion at the organisation in the office. But over all very happy.

Ice did a brilliant job and I would highly recommend them. Reilly in the office booked everything in and was most helpful, and then Harry came and got rid of all the graffiti flawlessly. A great service and great result!

AVOID THIS SCAM COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!This company pays for fake reviews which I’m guessing their staff then all like. It’s not normal for every 5 star review to have 7+ likes on it. They do this to make up for the appalling legitimate 1 star reviews they get because of their awful service that revolves around overcharging customers.It’s also worth noting that this company is currently in liquidation, and owe hundreds of thousands of pounds to HMRC. They don’t mention this on LinkedIn though, when boasting about how successful they have been. The only thing they’ve been successful at is losing money, losing court cases and scamming people out of their money.

These guys were so lovely- ours was a 3 day job, on day one a technician called Monty was fantastic, friendly and efficient given the scope of the job and days 2&3 we had two further technicians, Chris + a gentleman who's name I cannot remember - they were brilliant, got to grips quickly and very efficiently. All three guys were amazing and their service deserves the recognition!

I used Ice Cleaning on my development. I can say that they are very professional company. From the outset Jess Welch the business development representative was sublime. She made my journey so easy, she put me at ease. Everything was explained and emailed to me straight away. The level of customer service was excellent. I would definitely use this ICE Cleaning again.
