From start to finish our experience with Bubakes (Liz) was first class!Liz is not only a very talented baker but she is one of the most loveliest business owners you will meet. She did not only create our beautiful wedding cake but we created a friendship along the way. She gave great advice and support for when things got too much with my wedding planning (I am a very indecisive person) always offering to help to lighten my load and stress. We loved all the flavours from sample box but as it was summer wedding we opted for the vanilla, lemon and elderflower and martini! They were so good and everyone raved about how good the cake was! She was really helpful with our questions and giving suggestions for our cake vision. We had a half naked cake with some flowers and touches of gold. She also kindly accommodated for our gluten free guests by making cupcakes for them. We couldn't of asked for a better result, the cake was beautiful and so delicious! Liz has been our family's go-to cake maker and designer for a number of years. From our wedding cakes, naming ceremonies and many birthdays Liz has always created stunning, delicious cakes. We are always blown away with the creativity and thought behind each design. There are always little touches and extras that she adds which really show her care and attention to detail.I really admire her commitment to destigmatising mental health through work and feel proud to support Mind when ordering a cake from her. BuBakes is amazing from start to finish! Liz translated our brief from very vague on our part to an amazing cake fit for a very special retirement party. It also tasted delicious. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait for next time

I have ordered cakes from lovely Liz aka the BuBakes lady twice. 1st was my magical wedding cake and 2nd was for my step daughter's 18th. She's with you throughout the whole process, taking on board your wishes but also advising what does and doesn't work. She makes delicious masterpieces. Highly recommend

I don’t think words have been invented how to describe how happy I’ve been with Bubakes. Firstly the taste, best cakes I’ve ever had. The designs, the customer service absolutely phenomenal. I’ve now had 4 cakes from Bubakes including my wedding cake and I can’t wait for my next cake to be made.

Liz supplied us with the most wonderful cake to match our Halloween themed wedding reception. The styling was great and it the chic orange flavour was delicious. It was so good in fact, that we had no cake left by the end of the night. Would thoroughly recommend.

Amazing service from start to finish! Liz has been baking cakes for us and the family for a number of years and every execution has been exceptional. Sometimes the brief isn’t easy but Liz uses her skills (and imagination) to create spectacular creations. They not only look amazing but taste lovely, light and delicious. Cannot recommend enough! ⭐️
