Make Me Sparkle

Really made me sparkle. My hair looked amazing for my Birthday. I really couldn't fault the service. It was as if Alex had read my mind. My hair stayed in all day and through the night. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I booked the Make Me Sparkle team to do my hair and make up for my winter ball. I couldn’t have been more impressed by their professionalism. Setting up my appointment with Alex was so easy and she answered all my questions. I would never have been able to do my hair so well, it was gorgeous! My make up was flawless, I was so stunned at how I looked. I had the best experience with Make Me Sparkle! Would definitely book them again!

As I have done on a number of occasions for those special nights out, I gave Alex at Make Me Sparkle a challenge to copy a hair do I'd seen and boom, gorgeous hair to go out with again. Always thankful for your talents Alex. Very pleased I found out about Make Me Sparkle.

Sadly really not happy with this company. From the start communication was slow for my niece, all of the other suppliers were amazing just sad that this left such a bad taste for her.When the stylists arrived on the wedding day (late) the makeup was poor quality and didn't last, we luckily had a guest who was a makeup artist who was able to help and she was too shocked by the application.The hair lasted luckily for the photos but all of the bridesmaids and the bride, pins started to fall out which shows in the evening photos.The stylists we were sent, when we mentioned about the lack of communication with Alex they were not shocked, it was clear this is a common problem that they have to deal with.I tried to get my niece to complain afterwards as she was so upset but she just couldn't deal with having to speak to them again.We just wish we had had trials for all of us not just the bride, because many of us travelled from overseas we couldn't attend a trial, if we had we could have perhaps avoided using this company for the wedding day.We were offered to also pay 50 extra to guarantee that someone turned up on the day? We were absolutely shocked about this and this made us very uneasy about anyone coming. I've never heard of a hair stylists or makeup artist charging more to guarantee someone comes. Surely if someone was that sick and unable to attend they would provide last minute cover or help within the cost of what we paid.We certainly wont be recommending make me sparkle to anyone. Avoid at all costs if you don't want added stress

I’ve used Make Me Sparkle’s hair and beauty services several times and always been delighted with the results! Alex is amazing at knowing exactly which hairstyle will work for any occasion, and can create the most beautiful looks with effortless ease. I had individual lashes applied and she has such skill and patience, and is such a perfectionist- only the best will do for her clients. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Alex to anyone - I’m looking forward to my next visit!

Highly recommend Make me Sparkle! Alex has done my hair and makeup three times over the last few years for special occasions and she has been amazing, completely understanding what I wanted but much better than I could have expected. Especially as a more mature" lady

Alex did an amazing job for myself my friend Katrina and the 3 flower girls for my step sons wedding in October the wedding was at 12 o’clock so we had to start getting ready at 7.00am, I’ve never had so many compliments in my life I trusted Alex as I wanted to have a dramatic look for the day and she did an amazing job I think my hair would of stayed in for a week.The little ones all had challenges and she made them all look beautifulThank you AlexXx

From the first contact with Alex, I was confident she understood what I wanted for my big day. Communication before the wedding was great and her honest advice on the trial was really appreciated. She listened to all our opinions and worked her magic.On the day everything went to plan, the morning was calm and relaxing, just what I needed. Alex was my Personal Stylist for my big day! She was professional, warm and patient. She took the time to listen to me and was able to style my hair exactly as I'd described it and was more than happy to make any adjustment. Nothing was too much trouble.
