The Church of the Ascension - A Church Near You | All are welcome here at the Church of the Ascension. Our weekly parish communion is 9:30am on Sundays followed by refreshments. Our churchwardens Carol and Leanne will be happy to chat with you about our services. The parish of Kenton: The Ascension is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Newcastle’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. Attended for Covid booster vaccination. This was supposed to be the nearest venue to Sunniside! Very busy and nowhere to park. The volunteer stewards were very kind.

The Church Of The Ascension
I went to this Church as they were doing Covid Vaccinations there. I got my appointment sorrted through 111 and only had to wait two days. When I got there it was very efficient. I was in and out within 15 minutes. Well done to the volunteers handling the queues.
