AR Alterations & Dry Cleaning

AR is brilliant, very professional and attentive. I had 2 jeans that needed altering in 3 different ways. The first pair were perfect and the 2nd pair sadly after every effort, are just too small for me, AR didn't charge me for the 2nd pair. I've been here a few times for alterations and love the chat. A very professional tailor who will work at every angle and makes every effort. Thank you!

This location is incredible! I needed some trousers taken in, so I travelled to Edinburgh for two weeks for work and came here. Everything was finished in two days by A&R alteration and the tailoring was excellent. They're all quite beautiful, too! All I wanted was to live in Edinburgh so I could visit often! Had a dress shipped fromabroad which didn’t fit. Went to maria’s across the road and her service was absolutely distasteful. so rude, incredibly mean and she refused to alter my dress. Discriminated against me and was just overall poor with her attitude. Then headed to AR’s alterations, he literally did my dress the day before I needed it, and he delivered.I was so distraught about what my dress would look like but i needn’t have worriedHe did what needed to be done and it was to a high standard. I would recommend this shop a 100 times over. Thank you so much !

Great local Leith business.Major suit repair with damagedleather collar and it came back perfect, looked like new. A couple of other minor alterations and all dry cleaned to perfection. All ready on the day that was agreed. Can't beat a great One Stop Shop" very friendly owner just adds the personal touch. I would make this my first choice every time

This man is an absolute diamond and has done a fantastic job on my dress and my partners suit. We went to a farm wedding and ended up covered head to toe in mud and this amazing human managed to make them look brand new! What an amazing human! Thank you ever so much <3

Very friendly and open patron. Easy to talk to. His experience comes across. Will modify any alterations if needed. Reasonably priced and good work that lasts. Have used this service on a number of occasions and have never had any issues with the quality of the work. This shop is my go to.
