My favourite studio in central Scotland. Top end equipment lots of space and knowledgeable advice on hand if required.

I attended the Pavilion Studio for a portrait workshop, as a novice in studio environments.This workshop has given me an understanding of studio lighting and the confidence to organise studio shoots.Attending the workshop with photographers of different levels of experience was ideal, and gave each of us a chance to compare shots we had taken of the models, and also understand each others composition techniques.I’d happily recommend the Pavilion Studio's lighting workshops to anyone hoping to gain knowledge of studio lighting.

I've attended two courses at the Pavillion Photographic Studio (Studio Lighting and Retouching in Photoshop).The content of the class is top notch and Barrie knows a lot about his subject. Helped me build confidence in my abilities by demonstrating that simple effective lighting setups produce stunning results.I'me booked up for the model days that Barrie also runs and will be looking to attend some of the advanced workshops that are also available.Anyone looking to learn about their camera or take a step into studio work should consider these classes and workshops. Money well spent.

A very professional and well set up studio

My first time using the studio today and as a natural light photographer i found it an ideal studio for my needs.The owners are also very accomodating and on hand to help if needed while respecting your privacy to work with your model.I've used a few studios in scotland but this is one id definitly recommend to all and one i'll definitly be using again.
