Starline Taxis Chichester

This company is a joke. Booked a taxi for 9:15 from Summersdale to Chichester station. Called 5 days to book in advance and called a day before to confirm making sure taxi on time to catch train at 09:40. all booked. At 9:15 no one turned up, called and was told taxi on its way? Called again at 9:18, again taxi on its way but no idea where it is? Called again 09:21 and was told they couldn’t check on their systems? So we missed our train to Gatwick and had to book a taxi which costed us £80. This company is an absolute mess and waste of time. Avoid at all cost. Disgusting service. Such a disgrace

We booked a minibus to take us to Southampton port and pick us up a week later. Drivers were well on time. Very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be using this company again.

Haven't used this service for years and now remember why! Book at taxi at 9am in the morning to pick me up at 5pm... 5:30pm still no taxi, call up to be told it's on its way... Another 10mins pass ans call up, finally assigned a car, speak to the driver to cancel for him to tell me sorry he only got the job 2mins ago. Thanks for making me miss my daughters show starline...

Booked a return taxi for a wedding well in advance. Paid upfront and the taxi to pick us up was 30 minutes late with no apology given. Called reception several times and all I got was “It's on its way”. Why book a time if it comes whenever it likes? They made us feel more like a problem.

Great service. Efficient booking on email. Driver on time and friendly. Clean comfy car with room for all our luggage.Airport run done via roads with minimal hold ups due to driver running two cell phone apps. Will definitely use again when flying to England.

This is the only Chichester cab company that regularly goes out of its way to find a car for me and regularly succeeds. Cabs arrive on time , drivers are always very friendly and the woman on reception at weekends (when we use them) is magnificent

I see from other, recent reviews that this company are still letting people down; receptionists still say the cab is on its way when it isn’t. I will never forgive them for near stranding me in the countryside in the evening. Fortunately trains were still running but I had to fork out for another ticket. When I booked I checked that I could pay by card but the driver seemed to find this challenging whilst I prayed I wouldn’t miss the last train as he had to phone the office to find out how to take payment. I arrived home very, very late….stressed, tired and out of pocket. I was fortunate I suppose that I didn’t have to sleep at Chichester station!

Early this morning I was driving my beloved but scatterbrained niece to Heathrow for an international flight home for the holidays.About twenty miles from the airport it transpired she'd left her passport in Chichester. Starline came to the rescue, picking up the documents from a (no doubt) dazed housemate and then hoofing the passport up the motorway in time to clear security. The whole operation was seamless and calm, despite the hysteria in my car. I'm profoundly grateful: Starline saved Christmas!

During an extremely busy Goodwood Revival weekend, I was stranded going to/from the Revival from my hotel on two days and Starline managed to fit me in both times. Very courteous and friendly drivers, too. Thank you for making it work for me.

Return trip from west wittering to Southampton cruise port in Aug 23.All completed as booked with friendly and helpful drivers at a very competitive price.What more could you ask. We are pleased to recomend this company and will certainly use them again.
