Great service... absolutely wonderful staff (this cannot be stressed enough!) and quality of products. The coffee would be a 4 but 5's for everything else, from cheeses to sandwiches to the bistro, and lots of niche items you can't find anywhere else.

We went for brunch and they have great coffee and tasty food. We will definitely come back. I would recommend the cheesecake, avocado toast and eggs benedict. The salmon and apple chutney toast was also great, but the portion was quite small.

My food (14 pounds) came with lesser items than it said on the menu. Just bread sticks and dips with some olives. I was super confused as the falafels were nowhere to be found. So I had to eat the hummus with the breadsticks. The waiter spent more time serving people who he judged would tip him well. So we couldn't ask anyone about the missing food items. They ended up giving the missing food wrapped in paper when we paid the bill!! Such a pity as the venue is beautiful!

This place hold great memories for me in its previous identity as The Oxford Kitchen. But today was my first time in The Kitchen Food company. Unbelievable croissant and I can't understand how avocados can be that smooth and silky. Friendly service, lovely room, oh! Also, amazing deli downstairs and a gorgeous terrace. Recommended.

Didn't have a good experience - I'm pregnant and when I asked one of the staff whether their ice cream was pasteurised, he told me that 'this was an intense question which I'm not going answer.' I'm only giving two stars because his colleague intervened and was helpful, but I was shocked by the attitude and apparent lack of knowledge from the first guy. Would expect more from a shop that charges 7 pounds for a carton of ice cream, both in terms of customer treatment and general knowledge on food and dietary requirements

Wow, wow, WOW! Came to the bistro for lunch yesterday after reading in the Oxford Mail about the recent award it had won. We had also visited when it was 215 Kitchen and Drinks and had loved it but hadn’t visited since it changed to the deli/bistro. The standard hasn’t changed at all. We had the most amazing meal…and the rhubarb dessert was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Staff were fantastic and even offered to hold our 5 month old baby girl so we could eat. Please, please, please open a branch in East Oxford which is in serious need of a bistro like this! We’ll be back!
