No pretence, just friendly people sharing their passion. Every visit yields a surprise. We are extremely fortunate to still have The Record Album in Brighton after all these years. Thank you.

A goldmine of jazz records, pretty great selection of heavy-duty prog/psych records, a lot of great items in hip hop, punk, and metal. Really fair prices. Certainly one of the shops to pay attention to in the UK for a collector of vintage/collectible records.

Great place to visit if you live vinyl. A good range, across all genres and a good selection within each. Friendly and helpful staff.

This place is a must-visit for any record collector in Brighton. The prices are reasonable, and there is some unusual and fantastic music in stock. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable - I had some great chats with Ben about jazz. I will most definitely be coming be back here in my next trip to Brighton!

Ok so this is probably the best record shop in Brighton for rare Jazz and Psych / Prog. Young owners who have an almost encyclopaedic knowledge of many genres and are happy to advise and direct. Keep the good work up!

Great music selection here. A lot of jazz, classic rock and soundtracks but also a bit of everything. Not everything is in great condition but decent overall and fair prices.

Great choice of vinyl at good, fair prices. Soundtrack choice is fantastic, but lots of other genres to pick through too. Literally a 1 min walk from the train station, staff were friendly and helpful, which to be honest, doesn't always happen in record shops, does it?

A fantastic music store. A treasure trove of vinyl. All genres included but especially good if you are looking for the soundtrack of that cool sixties movie you remember. Owner went to a lot of effort to find an album I had been seeking for ages. It's a place to marvel at the cool cover art of so many records. A must for lovers of music on vinyl.
