We enjoyed a fabulous night out with friends at this restaurant yesterday. The food was delicious with an extensive range of tapas to choose from – the Russian salad (one of my favourites) was done beautifully and the lamb skewers were exquisite. In fact all the dishes we shared were delicious and there are more I am eager to go back and try. There were plenty of staff, who gave us a warm welcome and were extremely attentive throughout the meal. We had a table on the balcony looking over the river, perfect to enjoy the beautiful views and watch the sun go down. Last night they also had live music which was a real treat and we had a great time dancing until late. We will be back!

We had a fantastic evening at El Cerdo , now under new management with Lynn and Graham at the helm. This is in a beautiful location with views over the river Thames. The restaurant serves really top quality tapas, with great service. Very much recommend the tortillas! So great to have a fantastic new restaurant in this area! Looking forward to our next visit!

Had a wonderful meal here last night. Food was delicious, cocktails were well executed, wine list was interesting.The service experience was exceptional - the wait staff are engaging and professional. We received a complimentary drink given it was a special occasion, too.And of course the location is second to none.Was our first visit, but won’t be our last!

I took my husband here for his birthday. He and I were very impressed with the setting, the service and exceptionally friendly staff. The food also was really good value and very tasty. If you like tapas and a good selection of picky food, you will love this place. The owner Lynn, even took the time to come over and say hello. The meal was finished with a couple of complementary drink to celebrate my husbands birthday . We will definitely be back and will bring friends with us next time

This was our first visit to El Cerdo which overlooks the River Thames at Bourne End - a great location. There was a warm welcome and then very good service thereafter. The staff were all friendly, efficient and engaging.The tapas were very tasty and we can recommend the garlic and chili prawns, the patatas bravas and the tenderloin brocoli. The tortilla bagas was perfectly cooked. I ordered the special prawns with coconut puree but it was a little gloopy which I fed back to the team who will be addressing.Highly recommended! I'll be back!

Beautiful venue, staff were very friendly and attentive.All of the food was delicious and the chef even sent out a special for us to try.Our cocktails were perfect and our waiter chose a wine to complement our food.Can't wait to go again!

Enjoyed a sunset meal at El Cerdo on their amazing balcony overlooking the Thames. The food was absolutely fantastic. The shrimp tortilla and the croquettes were notable highlights. The service was very quick and staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Lots of options for GF also. Will definitely be visiting again and would recommend to anyone!

The restaurant has just re-opened. Overall a mixed experience - I’m hopeful they will improve.The food was pretty good, authentic to Spanish recipes. The pork & octopus were well cooked and flavoured.However.The service wasn’t great. Despite asking that main courses to be served after the tapas, this was ignored. So we were served both courses within 30 mins of sitting down and asked for our dessert orders within 35. The servers were all pretty clueless and weren’t really able to resolve this.The restaurant has potential so helpfully these are teething issues.

My friends and I enjoyed a wonderful evening at this beautiful Tapas restaurant. The moment we arrived we recieved a warm and friendly welcome and were shown to our table overlooking the River Thames. The whole setting of this restaurant is fabulous. The food was fantastic. Lots of choices available, very authentic and beautifully presented. I would highly recommend this restaurant you won't be disappointed.
