These really are brilliant vets. Have been helpful and accommodating with both my adult and puppy GSD. They ask the right questions.

Brilliant experience with this vet recently and after two bad experiences with previous vets (castle hill and easi petcare woodley) I am pleased I have found a trustworthy honest vet in the area!Managed to get an emergency appointment after calling very late in the day when returning from work. The whole team were so helpful and friendly. It is a brilliant practice and I felt that they really cared about the pets, not just trying to take as much money from you as they can, unlike other vets (castle hill!)Thanks for restoring my faith - I would highly recommend - special thanks to Dr Mark and the nursing team

We have just registered at this practice as the current one we have been with for years has gotten absolutely horrendous (Easipetcare Woodley). They registered us and got us an appointment very quickly after our current vets expected us to wait 10 days due to them being short staffed (they’ve been short staffed since Brexit!)We have an anxious Cockapoo and all the staff were absolutely amazing with him. I feel completely at ease that they are doing the very best for their patients. Very calm environment and staff were all caring and lovely from Hayley on Reception to our amazing vet Yvette and the lovely nurses too. Recommend them 100%

Wow what a great place so friendly as soon as you walk in you are greeted and asked how they can help, took my 11 yr old Jack Russell here after going to another vet, we were told all the details that the other vet did not even mention that they needed to operate straight away, life or death,she had her op and is now on recovery road, took out the Wellness Plan which saves so much money over the year, A Shout Out To Ana, Steph, Annemarie, & Emma. will tell all my friends where to get great pet treatment

Such friendly and caring staff.I recently let them know that my cat had been hit by a car and sadly died (I didn’t want any routine reminders) and a few days later I received a lovely plant with their condolences.I’m so touched and really appreciate the care you gave our gorgeous cat when you saw him.Thank you

Great vets know what they doing. kind caring and lovely people and great prices and don't rip you off like some.

From the get-go (my first call) to my first appointment, I have felt so looked after, and the care the staff provide is amazing. We were given great advice, and the appointment was very comfortable for both me and the doggy. I'm so glad I registered here and would recommend it to anyone with a pet of their own.

Such friendly staff. We moved down from Manchester and immediately transferred our dog over to the Reading branch as we just love Harrison’s so much. Our Dog feels so comfortable and never ever has any anxiety, he plays with toys and gets lots of fuss. The pet plan is also great!!

An exemplary veterinary practice. Everything you could hope for and more. Unfortunately, we only discovered this practice in what turned out to be our beloved cat's final days, and sadly, due to the disrespect shown to her by our previous vet. I only wish we could have gone there sooner.The vet assigned to us was Mark. A dedicated, highly professional vet and a good, kind man. He looked after us. My cat was relaxed and comfortable in his presence. Everything was explained to us in great detail, and when it came time to euthanize our beloved friend, it couldn't have been handled with greater sensitivity.My beautiful girl slipped away peacefully, in my arms. We were given ample time both before and after the procedure to prepare and to grieve. There was no rush. Our pet's needs were paramount. Harrison's Family Vets, Reading helped us to feel completely supported throughout the entire process. Hayley was another highly professional member of staff, as was Stef, whom we had met a few days previously.All in all, it's a lovely practice. I don't know if we will ever feel ready to have another pet. However, if we do, we will definitely return here. Incredible service from start to finish.Thank you for all you did for my beautiful cat. Her final moments were handled with great skill and immense dedication from the staff at the practice. All the very best to you all.***UPDATE***This morning, I received a beautiful orchid delivered by Vendela Rose Floral Design florist. Attached was a lovely card which said everyone at Harrison Family Vets was sorry for our loss and thinking of us at this time. I was very moved by such a kind and heartfelt gesture.Thank you so much. Even after my dear cat's passing, you still care. A wonderful veterinary practice.

I have been coming to this vet for over a year after leaving a well known practice in west reading.Every experience has been amazing and I have always left satisfied with the knowledge and care shown from various vets.They don’t insist on unnecessary add ons to bump up the bill. Instead they give honest opinions that are not financially motivated. I would highly recommend this practice for anyone that wants to feel like their pet is important and not just a cash cow.
