Boots Pharmacy

Llandysul's Boots is on the smaller side, with friendly, helpful staff. The pharmacist is very quietly spoken; so quiet, I pondered renting an ear trumpet.

Went to collect prescription today, very off hard member of staff, when I said I was self isolating due to underlying health condition she said I shouldn’t be in there either. No offer of help I haven’t got anyone to collect my monthly prescription and they don’t offer delivery. Very unhelpful and lack of empathy.wont be using them anymore,

Went to Boots as Lloyds being my usual chemist did not stock tablets I needed without lactose. Being lactose intolerant this is a common problem. Boots staff less than helpful advised me to drive all the way back to the GP surgery to get script changed as they would not be able to ring until later despite having an empty store. Went back to Lloyds who sorted it with a simple phonecall despite being very busy. If I had been elderly or frail this could have been a real problem. Customer care should be central.

Good covid control, limiting to 2 persons only in the shop. Text service to let you know that your items are ready and you can order through the boots app.

Iv only put 1 star as i cant give no stars.The customer service in boots is terrible. Its seems to be three female members of staff in particular. They don't like being questioned about when they have made a mistake. When you have questioned them they blame it on a colleagues lack of training. Well if there colleagues are not competent at there job why are they dealing with medication. They are rude. Unhelpful. They look down on customers like they are wasting their time. They forget that we are entitled to our prescriptions as the government pay for them. And i pay my national insurance. But they think its okay to withhold my prescription cuz they decide its not ready even though they sent me a message to say it was ready.I am taking it further as this is not acceptable as its not the first or the second time this has happen where we have had such disrespect from the same 3. there are 3 other members of staff in the shop that are very friendly and more than happy to help. Which makes the process more pleasant.
