Somerville Stone refurbished the gilding on my grandparents gravestone. It was done beautifully and fast, in a friendly and respectful manner. I also was kept fully informed and photos sent when appropriate. Absolutely brilliant - many thanks.

We are very happy with my Mother in laws Headstone. Somerville made the whole process easy and everything was confirmed via email. The Headstone was completed and fixed months earlier than we expected and I have already recommended Somerville to a friend.

Can not thank Darren enough, he was so helpful and knowledgeable when I phoned him initially knowing absolutely nothing about graves, purchasing of the grave, headstones, restoring headstones etc he spent the time explaining, initially we believe that the headstone was beyond restoring and that we would have to purchase a brand-new headstone. Darren bless him went to look at the headstone within 24 hours and and told me that he could restore the headstone and make it look like new. He also informed us that the base of the headstone needed replacing, we agreed and Darren carried out the work, today we received the pictures and to say we over the moon it looks better than we could have hoped for, I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a stonemasonCant thank Darren and his company for being super fast professional and reliable and easy to deal with, you made a stressful situation so much easier

Really want to share my positive experience with Somerville stone.Further to my father’s passing in Dec 2011, they were instrumental in sourcing, inscribing and the placing of the large memorial stone in front of the Pyramids Southsea.Moving forward to this year, we noticed in June that the lettering was becoming faded and our intention was to contact Somerville stone to see if it was ok for me to reapply paint to the letters where needed.By chance we came across Darren in Kingston cemetery in October and I enquired with him re my request.To my astonishment,he informed me that he had also seen this issue ,and had already taken the matter in hand and the work had been done already including securing the stone to the base more robustly.We have since visited the memorial stone on a number of occasions and confirm that an excellent job had been done .Thank you!
