Good authentic Chinese food, will definitely be back for more! Food is definitely worth the wait, as the chef does prep dishes from scratchIf you want white-washed asian food, you’re better off going to wagamama or buy cH0w mEiN from your meal deals LOL xx

Walk in to order take away for the first time, the owner was alright at the beginning welcome me in. When I walk to the counter I saw the sign “Cash only”, so I ask nicely if they not accept card or contactless, the owner suddenly become very rude and say theres ATM outside, however i didnt bring my card, and ask if they accept Wechat pay, a big “NO” from her and didn’t bother to look at me.Horrible customer service

Cash only. Clean environment and friendly staff. Pork and fish were well cooked- crispy without getting greasy. The fried rice was full of wok hei.

Worst dining experience ever!We were insulted by the restaurant's owner couple just becuz we asked how soon will we be served. It was one and a half hour since we placed the order and those who came after us were served and we had nothing on our table except the beverages. We were starving and decided to check out for the drink and leave, the owner then shouted at us that they're preparing, and if we leave, they will throw out all the ingredients, and she was pulling my friend pretty hard and trying to pull her into the kitchen...but my friend saw what she called prepared" everything was raw

If I could give fewer stars I would. The food was very average. I guess some might argue it’s more “authentic”, but let me be more specific: the chicken was terrible quality, full of gristle and bones. It honestly felt like they took the leftover off cuts and chucked them all in the fryer.The noodles were just awful. Terribly greasy and overpriced. A cheap microwave meal from Tesco would stand up well against this.I very rarely put reviews, but in this instance the service and food was so bad I felt like I should warn people.Finally, the price: £35 for three dishes, which were all pretty bad, including £9 for noodles that might as well have come from a supermarket.Oh, before I forget: I didn’t notice any “racism”, but then I don’t speak Chinese so goodness knows what they were saying as they were chatting a lot while we waited. I asked for Prawn Crackers, yeah I know probably that’s not authentic, but the disdain with which she said NO to me said all I needed to know.

Very tasty and authentic Chinese cuisine.The Dan Dan noodles are a treatTo those moaning about the food, authentic Chinese cuisine often has meat served on the bone...eat round it. You're ordering Sichuan cuisine, of course there will be chillis, and lots of them.It's a credit to Southampton that we've such an authentic restaurant in the city. This is not your bog standard, western influenced Chinese (Hong Kong) restaurant that you'll be used to and the menu will reflect that.

First time to dine in here. Small dining area and Waited an hour for the order but all foods are delicious. Recommend the pot wrapped meat with sweet and sour sauce!

Overpriced and service was a bit weird, but after reading the reviews I’m not surprised now ( we are not Chinese ) .My food was ok but my husband’s was just full of chillis ( I’m talking one third of the plate) and not the best cut meat. Only went because the Garden Restaurant was closed, which is, by the way, superb. We’ll never come back to this one .
