Absolutely perfect place to be, views are amazing, hot tub was fab and ready to use as soon as we got there which was a nice surprise. Very peaceful, red kites everywhere which is a lovely site to see, we visited Elan Valley whilst we was there, would pack for the day though as the walk to the Dams can take a while take a picnic.Hot tub was great in all weather's and the site was perfectly splendid in every way...the little hut at the top of the entrance which was filled with eggs and cakes was a nice touch to, with an honesty Box...Will defo be re visiting....

This was the first time we stayed here.The pod was so much bigger than I thought as we’ve stayed pod’s before but this was big enough for all 4 of us 3 adults and 1 child. The beds were super comfortable and we loved the shower.It had all the mod cons in the pod.Primrose was super peaceful and super relaxing. We will definitely be booking again the views were fantastic so much fresh air.Plenty of play area for the kids to run around without the fear of them running off as we could watch them from the pod.Next time we will come more prepared as the flys were so annoying and kept coming in the pod and really annoying us but other than that it was excellent.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay staff were very helpful and friendly. Hot tub was amazing and the garden was secure so brilliant if you take your dog. My daughter stays about twice a year in one of the shepards huts and my son and daughter in-law I can see why they love it up there.

I spent a week in the Shepherds View hut with my wife and dog. The place was perfect.Very warm even during below zero temperatures. Has everything to make a comfortable stay and sitting in the hot tub on a clear evening with the sun setting and Red Kites flying around was an amazing sight.We paid extra to have some breakfast ingredients delivered which made for a nice treat.We were lucky and even had some jets fly over a couple of times.The site warden/maintenance guy from Ukraine was extremely helpful and friendly especially when our car wouldn't start one extremely cold morning.

Excellent stay here. Quiet. Perfect location. Stunning views. Hot tub. No bother at all & dog friendly. Perfect base for exploring mid Wales.

This place definitely has the wow factor views are incredible we stayed in foxes view gillies rhayader so uniqueThe place was clean and well equippedOnly grumble was hot tub didn't keep its heat and we all got cold quickly even when left top on all afternoon to use in evening temp was at 33% very disappointed as wanted to sit in it as the sun went down and inside the seating area was most uncomfortable have had better seats in a tourer caravan but apart from this I would highly recommend this little bit of beauty

Lovely place to stay for a relaxing weekend, hot tub was great, lovely views. About 2 miles to the town, but the dams are amazing...

Terrific views, spotlessly clean (apart from the sides of the hot tub) and very comfortable shepherd's hut with enclosed garden which was great for the dog. Some passing traffic for the farm and other holiday lets but not too much.

Great idea and lovely views but the accommodation is worn out and not looked after well don't stay in Otters View.Was very excited to stay here with our 2 boys, when we arrived in the town we was a little early. (doing a 300+ journey) we messaged to see if we could get in early like an hour and was told to pay. I understand it is advertised with these costs but £20 for every hour is very expensive. To have the earliest check in and lates check out is an extra £110. We asked to just arrive and park up so the boy could stretch their legs and was told can only get out the car at 4pm. (standard check in time) so ended up finding somewhere to go.Once arrived at 4pm the cleaners where still in the accommodation and didn't actually get in til 4:10. Once there the views where amazing. There is a type of highland cow and sheep in the fields which was nice. Then we came to the accommodation. Well overall the place looked tired and not looked after well. There was multiple sockets not working one being for the microwave. The kitchen felt and looked as if one sneeze it would just all fall apart.The floor everywhere creaks and moves so unable to move around quietly when the kids are in bed.With the kids sleeping arrangements the top bunk realistically unusable due to the way the roof/wall is.As for the bedroom by the bathroom the mattress is completely gone and needs replacing, this has been reported in the guest book over a year ago and the mattress is still the same. It's the worst bed I have ever laid in and really needs replacing. The curtains don't really do much except collect mold. There is nowhere to hang clothes to dry (being a hottub there expect to have wet stuff all the time you stay)The hottub is showing its age, bubbles don't work there is a jet missing and others kept coming out when the jets are turned on, They put the chlorine after we were first in the accommodation. Having a hottub ourselves we know you have to wait 4hours before you can use it.The hottubs should be done first in morning.We walked around the place and noticed others had a lot better outside furniture.Very disappointed with this place and would not go back, There is better accommodation in Natamel which is only 5/10min drive from this place.
