For some reason the google map showed us to some shops and offices. It caused our group a lot of confusion and wasted our time. The Murals that we saw were great when you find them but the only one near the canons is of the rather funny TV show, the Derry Girls, not the political ones. The Free Derry political murals painted by 3 Bogside Artists are in Rossville St in the Bogside are of Derry, along with the Museum for Free Derry and the Bloody Sunday Obelisk - all worth visiting.

Paseo muy emocionante por el barrio católico de Bogside, inundado de grandes murales alusivos a los desgraciados altercados en la época de los años 60 y 70 (especialmente aquel fatídico Bloodysunday entre otros), llamado la Galeria del Pueblo, realizados por un trío de pintores de Derry.Imprescindible visitarlo e interesarse por la escalofriante historia que hay detrás de estos manifiestos artísticos.

Finally something to look at. The paintings are a real gem of the place - wherever you go, the boring site is changed into something interesting to look at. At the same time, this is a nice contrast to an old part of the city where it's mostly about old walls and far history.
