Whiteside Taxis

I was worried about getting a taxi on my own due to my illness but WHY DID I HAVE TO WORRY.The male driver who arrived at the house was a lovely guy who chatted with me all the way to Ansdell and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the charge wasn't so much as what I had predicted it to be.I asked for a receipt of the amount paid to the far, he asked me if he could send me an email receipt but I preferred a written one, because I have to give in at the meeting I was attending, so he mentioned that if I had a pen them he could write me out a receipt.I let him use my own, I always try to have a pen in my handbag, and this day was no different.When he had finished with the pen he gestured to give it back to me BUT BECAUSE HE HAD BEEN SO NICE TO ME FOR ALL OF THE TIME I WAS IN HIS CAB I LET HIM KEEP IT TO USE IT IN THE CAB ON ANOTHER OCCASION THAT HE WAS IN NEED OF A PEN

We booked a return journey to Manchester Airport. The outbound driver arrived well in time and got us to the Airport smoothly despite diversion. All this at 2am! Our return journey was hampered by delays but we kept Whiteside updated and there were no issues. Absolutely would recommend and we will book again in January thank you

Have used this taxi service for many, many years and have always been happy with this service. Drivers are always on time when I book. Even if I pick a cab up from The Square, I always look for Whiteside as I know I will always been treated with help if necessary. Keep up the good work

My wife used whitesde's to come back from Blackpool Victoria on 24 10 23 hospital on crutches. I had a delivery of sheet plywood come a day early, and being left outside in the rain. I would like to thank him, for kindly helping her and putting it in my hallway, cheers for your kindness Dave

Having just used Whitesides return airport service for the first time I highly recommend giving them a try.The cars were modern and clean, the drivers were smart, very prompt, courteous, efficient and very patient especially during the pick up process at the chaos that is Manchester airport.Very pleased, thank you Whitesides.

One star not low enough. Driver refused to take my instructions regards route attempting on 3 occasions to take the longer route via riibby road which has two sets of temporary traffic lights and a mini roundabout notorious for causing delays at peak rush hour.Not only did he ignore my instructions and the sat nav but stopped in moving traffic on a roundabout in order to argue about the best route. His choice of route would have increased the distance by over a mile and adandded significant wait time.Whiteside try to relive my review from Hhooflwaving raised this directly with the council the estimated additional fare would have only been £3-£4, however, multiply this over every journey every day and you are defrauding customers of thousands of pounds.Having complained to their head office my number is now blocked from calling them to follow up my complaint despite their insistence that they would contact me back.I have electronic receipts and council reference numbers for the investigation which will be provided should Whiteside try to remove my review

Fantastic service from pick up to drop off each way. Both driver’s were exceptional, service, curiosity and professionalism. Il never drive to the airport again. And they both had a great laugh with us all. Made us feel great. The office was great too, all by recommendation from paul in the office. Thanks. Value for money too.

Used Whitesides for Manchester Airport bookings in the past always been really good. Last week we had our minds changed about the company , very badly organised left walking around outside terminal 3 at the airport at 1am looking for our taxi / driver no message to say where to meet, phoned the office n driver phoned us giving us directions we could not find where he was parked he ended up walking to meet us out side the door of term 3, he was arrogant and rude and said I did not follow his directions correctly, he walked us to the taxi almost 10 mins away not near the exit. A couple of days later I emailed the mananager a complaint , he did not contact me the complainant but did contact my husband and basically backed his driver and company was not bothered atall, last time my husband and I and our friends and families will use Whitesides.

Driver 156 Danny, was the most pleasant taxi driver I have ever had, such a lovely experience, the taxi was spotless, it smelt wonderful and danny was very easy to converse with! Will definitely be back again!
