Great place to stay, nice, clean end the grass was cut to perfection. Toilets and shower were clean and didn’t have to wait even though the place was nearly full. All facilities that the campsite offer were in good working condition and clean. At the reception the stuff was very welcoming and friendly. We had zero issues. We will be back for sure

The facilities are good and very clean. We only stayed for a night, so didn't get to see the whole area. The staff are the most helpful people! We were having issues starting our car due to a low battery and they were happy to help immediately.

Camping place was good. Very cramped but good location if you want to visit the city. Day trips with the bus are very easy. Some facilities were good. Make sure to use the right toiletblock. If not you end up with not working showers and dirty toilets.Washing machines and dryer are available. Price is quite high but I guess the location sort of justifies it.

The campsite is very spacious and nicely located on the edge of of Edinburgh. The city centre can easily be reached with one of the the frequent busses that operate even late on weeknights.During our stay (during the high season and fringe festival) we enjoyed that there was plenty of space between the tents which ensured a reasonable amount of privacy. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the shop is very well stocked and a lovely pub is also part of the campsite. The two campsite-highland cows living across the street were one of our highlights. However, we were not satisfied with the facilities. Even though there were several showers and toilets located close to our pitch it was a struggle to find a toilet that had toilet paper or a shower that was not out of order, had a blocked drain or was either ice cold or too hot to enjoy. This led to queues, especially in the morning. The dish washing facilities were running over capacity as well, which again led to long queues and overflowing recycling points.

We have had a few stays in our own tourer but this time spent 4 days in a caravan holiday home at Morton Hall in Edinburgh. Absolutely first class accommodation with everything you need. Great bus service into the city centre and on-site staff so helpful.

Stayed at the campsite for the weekend and it was great, really handy the bus stop was just along the road. Facilities were good, lovely hot shower but I could not find the mop to mop the shower after use. The pitches were on the small side but as we were not sitting outside this was okay. Will definitely return.

Great campsite for Edinburgh! Good facilities, nice park type setting with a view of the Pentland Hills and brilliant bus service into Edinburgh. Can't wait you go again!

We stayed one night in our tent there and were very pleased with how helpful the staff was. The toilets were well supplied and very clean. They also have a kitchen facility where you can pay a little to use the stove and is also equipped with other appliances. Next to it, there is a bar in a lovely courtyard with a beautiful traditional hall. Nice experience indeed.

Fantastic location for catching the bus into Edinburgh city centre! Staff were friendly and helpful, and there is a store on site which was great for grabbing some basic groceries. We stayed on a non-electric caravan pitch which was flat and right near the bathrooms. Bathrooms/showers were decent - the block nearest to us was one building but separated for men and women, and the women's was clean. There's a restaurant as well but I can't comment on the food as the kitchen was closed when we tried to go for dinner - cozy ambiance and good drinks, though.
