We had two fantastic breakfasts here during our stay nearby. The staff are great and very accommodating to all comers (including dogs!). We’ll certainly be back.

What a fabulous venue with the most welcoming ,friendly staff and wonderful food .I had vegan options which were excellent .our dog was also welcomed by the team which was so appreciated including getting his own sausage ! Thank you , it really was a lovely lunch

Firstly, waitress was amazingly friendly. Thanks.However, ordered a chicken & pesto baguette and out comes a chicken & pesto on brown bread. Straight from a cheap loaf. Wasn’t impressed. Chips were nice though.

Me and my husband celebrated our wedding here on Sunday 26th March 2023 and we can honestly say that all of the staff made sure the day was perfect for us. The manager Johny ensured that the day ran smooth with schedules, playlists and timings whilst Jen looked after all of the guests all day from being very attentive to smaller details to helping one of our guests charge their car, nothing was too much trouble. We had the most relaxed day and were able to enjoy it all without any stress. Our guests enjoyed the day and the food was impeccable. This venue is perfect for any couple looking for an easy going venue which they can put their own twist on. We found it very convenient to have the venue, pub, cottages and spa all in one area. We cannot thank the team enough for all of their hard work- Abbey and Tom.

Having recently moved to Belford this little gem is only a 10 minute drive away. I opted for the Vegan Full English as I wanted avo and spinach but had meat sausages and added poached eggs. The food was freshly prepped and well presented. Service too was great, nice warm welcome and good coffee too. Will definitely revisit.

Wow!! Compliments to the chef!! Literally the best breakfast we've both had!! What a hidden little gem this place is.We stayed at the Apple Inn Shepard's Hut for the night and breakfast was included, we had Fruit & Yoghurt / Granola for starters then School House Croissant / Parmesan Toast. Huge pot of team and fresh coffee!!We will go out of our way to return here and have already told so many people to visit. They had a board up saying they cater for functions which would be ideal. And their Afternoon tea look fab.Can't rave enough - please visit!!

Ate here twice during a week long stay. Service was fine but both times we were waiting in excess of 45 minutes for our food and one on occasion waited over an hour despite having pre booked the food. Don’t go if you are in a hurry or have any plans that day but if you can spare a couple of hours then it’s fine.

£17 for a breakfast that was basically COLD!!!!!!!!! Wasn't busy and waited ages and got breakfast in bits!!!! Toast came when finished. Order was wrong and people l was with also same...wrong order wrong drinks and cold. This is marked down as School House but same place as Apple lnn...you sit in either one!Was at wedding reception in the actual School House...BEST RECEPTION ,STAFF AND FOOD lve had ever,at any wedding. Staff were soooo superb and never seen anybody so helpful curtios and polite. Would recommend for wedding reception but food for breakfast and meals in schoolhouse or apple in...GUYS ,GET A SERIOUS GRIP!

Had a delicious afternoon tea here as part of a spa package. Beautiful food and presentation and the service couldn't be friendlier. Thoroughly enjoyed it! The space is beautiful as well and we are looking forward to trying the rest of the menu when we have a chance.
