Helping Hands Home Care Swadlincote

I have worked with Helping Hands since June 2021 and I’ve never worked somewhere where everyone is so happy and helpful too! I’m loving the challenge of growing the branch and look forward to what the future holds!

I've only been working for Helping Hands, Swadlincote for a short while but my experience so far has been nothing but good. The management and other carers have been so lovely to myself, making me feel very welcome. They've all been encouraging and supportive with access to up-to-date training. The clients are also treated by the carers with total respect and in a professional, caring manner.

I was in a sticky situation following my dad having had a stroke in February. I was highly disappointed to find that social services had no care available to get dad home out of hospital and they phoned me to advise he was going in to a care home with no consultation or communication. I found Helping hands on Google and was nothing less than amazed at the service and advice I received from the Swadlincote branch.They were able to mobilize within a couple of days allowing me to get dad home. Each member of staff are caring and considerate of dad and the wider family.The most impressive thing is they facilitate the recovery by getting dad to do things for himself, this definitely speeded up his recovery.I can not recommend them enough for the care they provided and always were at the end of the phone when needed.

I started working for helping hands swadlincote in September 2021. I must admit it's a enjoyable role, we visit all kinds of different people for different causes. Nothing is too much for our clients and carers. The staff are brilliant, reliable and kind. The manager's are very communicative and have a heart of gold understanding everyone's needs. Definitely recommended.

UNBELIEVABLE! My dad is cared for by the Helping Hands team in Swadlincote and I can't praise them enough, from the get go they were professional, caring and honest. We were made to feel welcome and it put my dad at ease knowing he is in great (helping) hands.. We were assigned a career right away, and I can not speak more highly of her, Amber-lee is punctual, sweet, professional, caring, well trained and as bad as it sounds, I hope she is still around for me when I'm in need of care as I know I will be in great hands too. If you're looking for a care company that doesn't treat you like a customer but as part of their own family... look no further.

By far the best care company in Staffordshire and Derbyshire. Such an amazing company to work for or use for in home care. I have worked with them since July 2021, whole team is like one big family. Such amazing staff, always happy and smiling. Highly recommended!!
