Best fish monger I have ever been to. Excellent quality and service. Love their sashimi grade salmon (make sure you order the day before). Easily the best fish monger in town!

This is truly a great Scottish fishmonger. Entirely recommended. Excellent fish, and superb wild smoked salmon (warning: expensive) in the Xmas period. Nice people too, who will gladly talk to you if there isn't a queue (there often is one; good sign). For a foreigner like myself, also a little linguistic adventure: thick Edinburgh accent which I do not always decipher easily. But then again, they do not seem to decipher my accent every time. All with a smile, which is essential!

Such friendly staff who are so helpful and do everything they can to brighten your day. The seafood is of the finest quality and what I love is that they tell you where all the fish has been sourced from. The chili hot smoked salmon is a personal favourite!

Must say all their fish is delicious, but they sell sushi grade salmon that is not safe to be eaten raw (which is the point of sushi, it's RAW).I'm sure it's because of their misunderstanding of what sushi is, but nevertheless it's very unsafe for their consumers.FYI, sushi grade fish must be frozen for very short time at very low temperature to avoid risk of parasites, which may be present regardless how fresh or high quality" the fish is.For anyone interested

Phenomenal produce and so knowledgeable , mum and I used the wee fishmongers over the years and quite frankly always exceeded expectations - queenies, mullet, tuna you name it just fantastically fresh and highest quality A must to seafood enthusiasts and a well done to Dave and his crew thumbs up !!!

Great fishmonger but I wish they would just put the prices on the produce so you can tell what things cost without queueing up to ask. And then go through the rigmarole of asking about every item...
