We arranged a nerf gun event on 30.04.2022. My company speaks to the venues on their behalf, arranges the payment to the venue to ensure everything runs smoothly.All this entails for the venue side of the event is to open the venue for the time of the event.This did not happen, they didn’t have our booking in the diary and no one turned up to open the venue.I had to ring the venue, but there was no answer, emailed with no response, and luckily managed to message them on Facebook.At which point they didn’t respond immediately but did read the message, and then then turned up 20 minutes late.As a result the party started late, I had to apologise to the customer on their behalf and paid my company staff longer to make sure the party went ahead and was a success… I asked the venue for compensation as it was their fault that they turned up late but they declined.Very unprofessional, we shall not be recommending any customer to use their hall for party bookings. Terrible customer service personally I’d not book the venue if you’re looking to use for birthdays or events just in case they don’t show up and ruin your child’s special day.
