I visited today with my youngest and it's beautifully done up for Christmas. I would just say that could be more interactive Christmas displays other garden centres have them up was a little let down with that.We did have lunch in the cafe and the staff were attentive and pleasant. I had a jacket potato and BBQ pulled pork which was lovely but the pork could have been cut down a little more was very chunky. My daughter ate all of her lunch up she enjoyed every bite. It is a little on the pricey side for food but lovely. Amazing food hall and butchers as well.

We are regulars to the garden centre in the summer as we can walk with our dog buggy and any visiting poochesIt would be great if there was a section inside the cafe for dogs in the colder months so we could have a cuppa in comfort then we’d give 5*

Always a great place to visit, the kids love looking at the copious amounts of fish in the aquarium section whilst we look at the vast array of plants available, and then everyone into the food section to grab some great little bits and pieces. A great way to spend an hour or so on a Sunday. Got some great Burns today ready to plant for a floral start to spring 2024. Can't wait to see the flowers appear!

A good amount of stock, quite expensive however. The staff are friendly and facilities are well presented and very clean.

The garden centre has some nice things but very expensive. Clothing area is very small and would probably be better getting rid of it and having a larger gift selection. Cafe has nice selection of cakes but not much choice on menu. Cherry tree and hornsea garden centre much better, bigger and cheaper.

It's a mid sized garden centre with a cafe and a couple of novilty shops and an aquatics unit. They don't do marine anymore, only fresh water cold & tropical. They still sell tanks and hardware but no salt or marine stock at all.The restaurant, I have to say this was very poor quality. My wife and I ordered Ciabatta with coronation chicken in one, and bbq pulled pork the other. Plus a portion of chips. Mother had Sunday roast. Well, the ciabattas were a day old and dry. The wife manages a cafe in Hulls' art gallery, so she knows about this. On asking a waitress if the ciabatta could be toasted, she said no. So we replaced them. They came out the same. The filling, well my bbq pork was just OK, but the wife's coronation chicken had half a kilo of sultanas and a small amount of chicken in it, and the bread was hard. The roast was awful. Nearly a whole chopped cabbage, one overcooked carrot, and half a dozen overcooked and frazzled parsnips. A few slices of meat, a non description yorkie and gravy plus a large slab of spongy stuffing. The mother didn't eat hardly any, all the food was luke warm. The chips were extremely good, to be fair. The rest, not at all. Got full refund. Sad as was looking forward to it. Others were complaining, and there was lots of leftover food.

The garden centre part is fine, even if things are pricey. The care of the aquatics centre there however, is horrible. The tanks are greatly overstocked and in desperate need of water changes and a good scrub.
