Just ordered the salt n pepper combo which came with curry and rice. To Stanley wakefield.the food was amazing and very good value for what we paid. Me and my mum enjoyed this very much and will definitely be ordering again. The lady on the phone was lovely and polite, and the delivery fella was lovely and polite too. I am very pleased we tried Shanghai tonight it's the best we've had in Wakefield by far.

Very rude on the phone... and cash only... its great for them to do business in cash only while the majority of the rest of us pay our taxes. It's so easy these days to set up a card payment system that anyone NOT doing it has only one reason.. I simply refuse to risk giving business that's not paying their fair share to the society in which they operate.

2.20 mins for the order to arrive and they was told to stick it. Shocking service indeed n for a £30 order ....if they do that every time there not going to make much. Idiots.

2nd time disappointing, the chips were dry. Last time i thought it was just a one off but these have again been part cooked kept warm and then fried again to make them hot they were dry inside. I need to look elsewhere in future

Best takeaway for miles wouldn't use any other. Even the delivery staff are lovely .

I love ordering from Shanghai they are always very pleasant,friendly and honest the food is always very good and very hot you always get a decent amount which is good my favourite are chicken/beef curry with egg fried rice or salt and pepper chicken with egg fried rice and curry sauce I would definitely recommend Shanghai to anyone who hasn't tried it yet.

Always used this place multiple time a week until a few months back. Unfortunately both me & my partner were sick the next day. Never had any issues and the food was a nice as always but we’ve not been back as it only needs to happen once to put you off.
