I was recommended Forest of Dean Removals by a friend. Unfortunately I did not have the same positive experience. The team turned up more that two hours late which had a knock on effect with the cleaning of the house and meant the we were waiting until 10pm at the new address and unloading did not finish until 1:30am in the morning.After the removal it was discovered that the glass from a collectors table had been smashed and bed bolts were missing, meaning it could not be used. After I contacted Jamie he told me he was aware of the table and was sorry he had not contacted me earlier, assuring me that he would find the bolts or replacements and get replacement glass for the table. Within this conversation he apologised for his colleague and said he would not employ him again, as he felt he had not done a good job.Three months later I still have no bolts for the bed, I got quotes for the glass and got it fixed, Jamie did forward the money for this after several reminder texts from myself.All in all not a good experience and sadly cannot recommend. If you do decide to use the service please negotiate retention of a deposit, which i naively did not do.
