Kumon Maths & English

Kumon has been excellent for our girls. It's a good learning environment and has helped them to focus and slowly build on the abilities and knowledge that they have. It has instilled a good work ethic and a discipline to a lot of their learning. They have excelled in school as a result and have gained tremendous confidence. Highly recommended but requires patience and perseverance by parents.

I did kumon maths from the age of 8. It really helped me to grow in confidence and get to top set in maths at school. Through it all Louise and all the staff were very supportive and encouraging, making sure I was always on the right track.I have now been working at kumon for 4 years and have enjoyed meeting students and watch their ability and confidence grow. All work is tailored to their ability to make sure each student is individually achieving.Bicester is a thriving centre and I am proud to be part of an organisation that helps children to achieve more than they would at school alone.

Kumon has really helped my son become more confident with maths and english this is showing in his school work too. Really pleased with the staff support and would recommend to anyone

As someone who works at Kumon, I know just how hard Louise and her instruction team work on behalf of all the children and families enrolled at the centre. Whenever I visit the centre I am always hugely impressed with just how well rounded and capable the children are, with so many receiving awards for outstanding results in English and maths. The self-confidence the centres help instil in children is really wonderful to see.

A very good, caring learning institution with in-depth work for all age groups at all age levels. I started Kumon in year 9 with both English and Maths. After about 2 years of completing the daily homework set by Kumon, my Maths and English grades went from a C to a high A. Kumon gave me the confidence to go and take on A level Maths in KS6 and changed my attitude to learning. I have never made a better decision!

My son attended Kumon-Bicester for one year! Before we joined we were promised all this positive things! As months was passing my son was always asking us for help to complete the math paperwork he was given! One day I asked my son “why don’t you ask the teacher in the classroom for help” and my sons reply was “Dady teacher never comes to ask if I need help”One day I decided to ask the teacher my self and I was surprised by her answer! She told me that, if a child don’t ask for help we don’t know if help is needed!!!!!After 10 months I was told that my child is improving (by same teacher)I than decided to end the contract and was surprised to be told by a different member of staff (won’t name) that my son is struggling and needs help with his maths! I know my son is not struggling as he is very good in his school!After 12 months I took my son off this place as I thought they were money grabbers!!!!!!After 12 months attending this Centre I was NOT given any results or improvements of my sons progress but they took my £900 pounds!

Kumon has been a great way for me to further my knowledge in both Maths and English.I have been able to vastly improve my vocabulary and my understanding of the different concepts taught in maths.The best thing about Kumon aside from the staff, Mehdi and Louise is the fact that the work is tailored to each child and there is no restriction on how much I can improve based on my age.Kumon is great to either improve on your weaknesses or to even challenge yourself further, something which may not be possible to do in school.

As a former student of the Kumon Centre in Bicester I can positively say that the hard work that Louise and her hard working team put in pushed my confidence in both my English and Mathematical abilities. I started Kumon approximately in my second or third year of primary school and 3 or 4 years I was known within my school class as one of the better mathematicians in the year group, this was mainly based to the daily homework that I had been doing with Kumon. I was able to continue with higher mathematical challenges into the first or second year of secondary school which further boosted my confidence within the classroom knowing I had already conquered what most of my classmates were seeing for a first time and were struggling to grasp.Kumon gave me the confidence to go and take on A level Maths and AS Further Maths in KS6 and changed my attitude to learning.All my gratitude goes to Louise and her excellent team who helped me develop as a student.

Kumon has a wonderful, hard-working environment that really helps student excel in subjects they had previously been struggling with. I have been able to see their confidence grow first-hand as a result of the supportive atmosphere and the helpful, committed instructors. It definitely is an environment for increasing not only their academic standard but also their self esteem and I highly recommend it.

I've been working at Kumon for a while now and have seen students improve drastically since starting.The method of learning is just so well tailored to each student. Work varies from basic counting and reading, to advanced algebra and detailed analysis of literature. Furthermore the students can advance though these levels at their own rate so there is no risk of being left behind and if they require any help understanding a topic, all they have to do is raise their hand and I or one of my colleagues will talk them though it.It is now also fully Ofsted registered so can accept childcare vouchers which is great. It also means that it has to adhere to all the rules and regulations of Ofsted which are put in place to keep the students safe.Kumon Bicester is a great way to boost your child's Maths and English to achieve their full potential and I would fully recommend it.
