The staff we're really friendly and the seating area looks lovely. The breakfast was well cooked and very generous, it included a pot of tea which is a bonus! I will return in the future.

I would give this 0 stars if possible! Went for breakfast. Ordered 2 bacon and sausage sandwiches with no fat and a toasted teacake. the sandwiches came with bacon and a ridiculous amount of fat on them and only 1 sausage. The toasted teacake was for our little boy who couldn't eat it as it was that hard you could bang it on the table. I brought it to the attention of the young girl who cleared the table (very miserably) and all I got was OK I'll tell them" no apology at all! Complete waste of £23!!!!!"

Had a late lunch here today. Was going to have a Markham Burger, unfortunately they had sold out. They are very popular. I had a ploughman's lunch instead. Ham, 4 thick cut slices [proper Ham] 3 different cheeses, half a black pudding Scotch egg, some lovely crusty bread. There should have been some Pork Pie, however this was substituted with a piece of Sausage Roll. Some Chorizo, pickled onions, beetroot and some salad. We had been waiting a bit, not an excessive amount of time and one of the staff came to ask if we would like a free drink or piece of cake as way of apology for having to wait. They were very busy, at first we refused but he insisted we had something, he said you can take it home. I had a pasty which he brought me in a take out box.My wife had a Salmon dish that was really nice, well presented and great value. We have eaten here quite a few times and have never been disappointed. The staff are great.Highly recommended

I had a very nice lamb pie, chips, peas and gravy. Then went shopping and then back to the restaurant for cream scone and a cuppa.Ps. You could feed a family on one scone, they are so big.

No main meals being served today, we were told because the chef is too busy. Last time we visited they'd run out of food. Ended up with over done food which matches the burnt scones they serve. We're regulars but won't be visiting for food again.

The cafe is now open was closed for a while for refurbishment we particularly like the sandwiches which are served with crisps and coleslaw. We usually get a bowl of chips to share and its quite filling. Its also set amongst the plants and covers a large area so you're not squashed together. Lets hope it stops like that. The hot chocolate lets it down though

The Boiler House Resturant is situated in Markham garden centre. Styled like a retro school kind of theme offering breakfasts , sandwiches, cakes, jacket potatoes with various fillings. I had the cheese mixed in baked beans. All the food was very reasonably priced and good sized portions.Nice atmosphere quite a large place with a cosy corner with sofas and a tv.To find it you need to walk through the whole garden centre to almost to the exit doors.
