Elegant Stitch Pro Tailoring & Alterations

Really Excellent. I bought a velvet coat online that fitted like a bin bag! They altered it and it is perfect. You would not know the work had been done. Really well priced. Highly recommend.

This is the quality of their stitch work after paying three visits for this shirt. On the third visit they did manage to tidy up the loose ends but… using a different coloured thread?! I’m tired of repeating the journey to be honest, and have lost hope for any further improvement. An expensive lesson. Never again.

OMG! This is the BEST tailor in town. I have used tailoring services quite extensively over the last couple of years and I have never experienced a more friendly team of staff than here.Not to mention prices are cheap - considering the quality of service. They have done all kinds of alterations for me; I have never left unsatisfied.They are also honest - if something doesn’t need altering, or can be done cheaper elsewhere (like zip replacement) they will say it straight.They made extra holes in my belt for free - customer relationships are really important for them.If you have any doubts, just go talk to them, there are literally no reasons for hesitation!

I'm 7ft tall and find it incredibly difficult to find clothes to fit me and, as a result, have taken many items to be altered by Elegant Stitch. These guys have altered suits, shirts, overcoats and even a 3-in-1 interchangeable high-spec waterproof jacket.I am not an easy shape to fit as i am very tall, wide shouldered and small waisted but in every instance their work has been exceptional!! They have beautifully altered every piece they have done for me and have been extremely accommodating when it came to (in some cases ridiculously) quick alterations being needed.All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the prices are extremely reasonable making it excellent value for money all round.I cannot recommend these tailors highly enough!

Always found that when buying off the peg clothes they don't always fit as you would like. Tried Elegant Stitch years ago and wouldn't use anybody else. I have all my alterations done here. I buy expensive unfinished tailored trousers and have these finished at Elegant Stitch. Their work is perfect. Never ever had any cause to question the quality of any of the alterations done here. The staff are charming and more than happy to fit in with your needs. Several times I've been in a rush i.e. just passing through and the alterations have been with me next day, all done to the same high standard. Couldn't recommend this business high enough.

I've taken several dresses here for alterations, including a bridesmaid dress and my own wedding dress. I have been really pleased with the results each time, the prices are very reasonable and the service is quick and great. The sewing quality is excellent (you can't see changes at all) and on my wedding dress in particular they did a stunning job. Thank you Elegant Stitch!

I have had numerous clothes altered at Elegant Stitch and they always do such a fantastic job! I was especially pleased with the work done on two of my occasion dresses which were transformed after the alterations. Really happy with service. Very quick to alter.The only thing I'd say is call before you go as there's not always someone there.If you turn up and no one there always call and someone comes along.I had a dress taken in at top was too big and a hook and eye fitted it was £30 it was well worth it.

Excellent Tailor in London. I have had quite a bit of experience in London having my clothes tailored over the years with different tailors and Elegant Stitch has done an amazing job every time. Excellent customer service and workmanship, highly recommend using them.

Khosh and his team are top notch. I have had a myriad of alterations done from the simplest repair to a complex adjustment on clothing with intricate fabric. The ‘proof is in the pudding’ as they say and I have only ever been delighted with the results of their work. The pricing is fair and they are professional, courteous and extremely pleasant.
