TGI Fridays - Gateshead Metrocentre
I came to do some shopping with my Grandma and Grandad at the metro centre today and stopped at TGI Fridays.We had the chicken fingers and they tasted delicious.They where piping hot and came with chips and a selection of sauces. The atmosphere was good sat on a booth and the team of staff were brilliant. 9/10 I fully recommend.

Sesame chicken strips and jack Daniel’s sauce. Unbelievable! Meals are slightly more expensive than your average place, but well worth it. TGI’s will always be a favourite of ours, and I’d recommend it to any one.

Visited with wife, daughter and grandkids, awesome atmosphere and the staff were great, very attentive and gave the young kids things to play with, crayons and things to colour in but waaay over priced for the quality of the food. 10 bucks for 3 chicken wings which were still freezing cold in the middle... but got replaced promptly, over priced burgers.. I got the waygu burger and it was burned, dry and rock hard but couldn't be bothered to complain again by this point and the other burgers were just average. The wife got some burrito thing which was tepid in the middle and just looked a bit sad and lonely.. again about 20 bucks. Kids enjoyed their hot dogs and fries though so they seemed happy enough. Definately wouldn't go back based purely of the price of food vs the quality or lack thereof

There's a particular staff member who works here who was really helpful and down to earth. Very pleasant and understanding. I wish I could remember her name but unfortunately I can't. Service was quick, food was good portions and quality was the usual you'd expect. Definitely pricier these days.

TGI Fridays - Gateshead Metrocentre
Daughter just got GCSE results and wanted to go to TGI at Metro Centre. Ordered sesame chicken strips and 9 Friday wings and a Mixed Grill.When the food came I had to asked the waitress what the mixed contained and when she looked the dish she said this isn't normal the steak was so small and it shouldn't be like this (Her Words). She was excellent and went to have another steak prepared for me. In the meantime I looked closer to the other pieces of meat and turned them over and it was so burnt I tried a small piece of the chicken and it just tasted bitter and burnt. Told the waitress who in turn apologised and called for the Manager. The Manager was very good and offered several options, which I turned down as now I didn't have any appetite at all, so they took the meal away. Cannot fault the waitress or the Manager in the way they dealt with it. Was offered free ribs on the house but just didn't fancy eating any more.The other food my daughters and wife enjoyed very much.Just wondered why this was still served when the steak was supposed to be a 4oz steak but ended up like a 1oz steak. Hate to think what a 8oz steak would be as a main meal and being so burnt the other pieces of meat.Don't think I will return for a mixed grill, probably stick to Frankie Benny or Miller Carter next timePhoto shows the not so burnt side of the meat, forgot to take photo of the proper burnt side of the meats. Can you spot the steak? Yup right next to the tomato the small black thing on the left.

TGI Fridays - Gateshead Metrocentre
It was my first time visiting there 18 January. the food was very good, the price is reasonable for a restaurant with good service. However the poster and the menu did not state it clear that the cocktails deal was only available with the same choice. The staff didn’t remind us either. Only till we get the bill, we asked why is it £6-7 more expensive then they explained to us the deal has to be with the same drink but it weren’t stated anywhere. It feels a bit false advertising like.
