The purpose of our visit was to see the Lupin Field" NT beyond the Church. There were a few early blooms but it was still a little early. Should be at their best in a couple of weeks."

Sweet tiny little Church off the A272 near Rogate. Closed at the moment, but open again at the end of March.

This old church is completely isolated in the fields, at the end of a dead-end lane, but is well cared for. Terwick is not marked on the Ordnance Survey. It has a nasty Saxon name -wick" is a farmstead and "ter" is the modern word "turd"."

Beautiful church, and georgeous field of Lupins next door, through a gate. Must be the best hidden secret. I think the season is May/June for the Lupins, do check for best time.
