Dragon 81

Tonite we ordered the banquet meal for 4 again delivery was very quick as we were the 1st order to ring through delivery driver was very polite and courteous and now for the food OMG top quality as always and consistency of food awesome thank you all again.

Have to agree, was one, if not, the best Chinese takeaway in Hull but not anymore. We will not be ordering from here again. The satay was “to die for” now it’s awful. Miss chatting with Wayne and the quality food. Goodbye Dragon81….never again.

Long time customer, I used to love dragon 81. And I have just had food from D&P for the first time. It was incredible. Dragon 81 was the best Chinese in Hull after being a constant regular for almost 10 years. Unfortunately the new owners food is nowhere near including reheated chewy, chips. Won't be using again after three chances of going and being disappointed.

Has been my favourite Chinese takeaway for many years. Have seen just a couple of negative reviews; I promise you these are a one-off and not an accurate reflection of their great food. Their counter and delivery staff are very professional and friendly too.

Order here every weekend. Due to no car we have just called for delivery and they have said they do not deliver er even though they deliver up to 4 miles and we are 3.7 very disappointed in them

I tried Dragon 81 for the first time a few days ago and was really impressed with the quality of my order. Full of flavour, fresh and generous portion size. Definitely great value for money and the people who served me were extremely friendly. Will definitely order again before I head back to London

This was the best Chinese in hull but after the change of owners the food is no where near as good. I’ve tried it 3 times now hoping its just a one off unfortunately its not…I won’t be ordering from here again. Very disappointing as Dragon 81 was amazing.

One of the best Chinese in hull! If you haven’t tried it yet and love a good Chinese then you need to try some food from here, would definitely recommend it. I am half Chinese myself and man this is some good stuff. Not really a authentic Chinese as most Chinese here have all been westernized but the noodles are banging, starters are banging especially the ribs and satay chicken skewers as this owner isn’t a stingy one and use more peanuts like how it is suppose to actually taste. Main meals taste good also not to salty the sauces taste nice. Portion wise is great also haven’t been disappointed so far with the taste or quality of food. I order takeaway or eat out almost everyday and this Chinese has definitely made it to my list of choices. Never had stomach problems after eating from here compared to some other Chinese takeaways in hull. Only downside is sometimes the waiting time is awful which am guessing they can’t really help because they are so busy and the closing days and times sometimes isn’t so great. Other than that the food is literally worth the wait! Guy on the phone is also always friendly and actually listens to what you are wanting to amend to the order or add etc. Friendly staff/owner. Rating 10/10.
