So beautiful! Can't wait for the wisteria to come through fully. A lovely walk and a detailed sign about the history of the gardens was helpful.

Seem to have most things here that a park needs, play area for younger one's gardens and flowers for older types and playing fields for sporty people. Plus a small cafe/takeaway.

Nice place to walk/picnic. Dogs bins provided dogs need to be on lead in park, but can be off lead in Barton field next to it.

Lovely walking through here yesterday. Well kept and not much litter, cafe looked good nearby.

Huge fun space! Football pitches, tennis courts, a play area for younger kids, a few gym" things. A really good place. & Worth walking down the Prince's walk as it has the last remaining bit of the original gardens there"

Lovely place to walk around and relax. Bowling green and croquet together with beautiful trees and the famous wisteria arch.

It will be prettier when the wisteria blossoms over the wisteria arch, but it's still a nice place to bring a rug and flask and sit and read, or scroll your phone for a couple of hours. It's a shame there's no public toilets.

Nice place, really spectacular flowers, trees selection and gardens landscape, unfortunately the whole place is a mess. Obviously council can't be bothered to get the bins emptied regularly so in a week time you will find the same trash around the same bin. The historical gate house is a very small building which has been locked by a fence 3 years ago and since then nothing has changed. I have seen that council finally mentioned something on their web about reconstruction the historical gate house but that is all they did.

A lovely little park, with many types of trees. Dogs are allowed on the lead.
