The food is decent, just not what I expected. There was quite a queue for the food which is why I am a bit more critical - we ordered a Grilled Duck Donburi (13£) and a Chicken Katsu Curry (12£). With a Pink Sakura Lemonade (3£).Everything was a very solid 7/10, except for the drink because I didn’t really like it. There was barely any Grilled duck in my dish itself. It only tasted of chicken floss(?) - I’m not sure what it was. However, the donburi is quite well seasoned, especially compared to the katsu curry, because the curry lacked seasoning, particularly salt.Ambience is fine, service is good, quality of food is good but the taste is just ok for its price.

Great service, super wheelchair friendly. The atmosphere here feels so refreshing and welcoming. I didn't have much to eat, but the Teriyaki chicken skewers are amazing, and the Edamame was also nice. I would probably go here again to try something else when I get the chance. Thank you!

Visited today and served by a few staff … felt a bit uncomfortable initially and nearly left and went next door to pizza express … was then approached by knowledge guru LIBBY , she was amazing and put us at ease .. she went through the menu and helped us choose food … advised and listened OMG THE FOOD BLEW US AWAY !! Thank you will certainly return and try different things… we enjoyed everything today ❤️

Mixed experience at large restaurant chains can be expected, but I must commend Wagamama on their consistency through the years. It has always remained a safe option pre theatre or concert, consistent and tasty in their approach.Leaving London behind for a few days, the Meadowhall branch of the famous eatery was a welcome escape from the cold and rain. The food was delicious, well spiced and sized generously. I opted for the tofu gochujang rice bowl, bursting at the seams with flavour and a nice kick which doesn’t linger around. Chilli edamame and a lemon and ginger tea helped was down the goodness.Soulful, sense waking food. Our server and the rest of her team were hugely knowledgeable and incredibly positive. We took our time and felt welcome to do so! Sheffield service is always a nice break from the coldness of the capital, and Meadowhall Wagamama is a great advocate for that.
