Stoke Town Hall

Visited for a 21st Birthday Party in the Jubilee Rooms, the building is very obviously due a refurb the interior was very dated and tatty in places also obviously not well cared for with obvious dust and dirt around the rooms. Main issue was the attitude of the staff especially the gentleman whom I assume was in charge of the building for the evenng I would say say he was actively aggresive towards a of the guests right from the start of the evening and especially at the end when asking us to leave.

The Civic centre in Stoke has some fantastic architecture and really needs to be seen to be appreciated.

We got married here 15.04.2023 on the QE2 room and wow wasn't it incredible! Beautiful clean building, amazing room, definitely recommend!

I have been to my daughter’s graduation day today 14th November 2023, unfortunately I was feeling very poorly and everyone rallied around to make sure that I was ok.The staff security and the policeman were so good they got a chair for me to sit on and didn’t leave my side until I left.A big thank you to everyone that was there for me as I’m not in the best of health but the young lady that took me to the door went to tell my wife where I was to put her mind at rest .You all were so lovely thank you

I'm a disabled person who was attending my nephew's wedding on 17th December. I was in my wheelchair and when I arrived there was 3 large steps to just get to the doors. I was helped up the steps, having to get out of my wheelchair. Once I got back into said chair, we were then told the lift wasn't working and I'd have to go up in the service lift. Lo and behold the service lift wasn't working either. I again was pushed back to the foyer and had to struggle to climb 3 flights of stairs, with several of my family helping me to climb said stairs knowing I would have to do the same to go home. Also there was only one toilet and guess where it was, yes it was on the ground floor so all the time we were there I had to wait until hometime to be able to go. Perhaps you need to update your position and service your lifts more regularly and comply to the disabled regulations in regards to access for everyone. As the venue was the town hall, I couldn't believe what was happening. I hope I never have to go there again.

Great venue for concerts( we need more) and other events. I went recently to watch Boney M and Odyssey. It was a terrific night out. I’ve also been to watch Wrestling. If you appreciate my review please hit the like button and thanks

Obviously wedding !! Nice traditional spacious room quite a few stairs to climb for people who struggle !!You have stoke minster right across the road where you can have some nice photographs done

Went to my nephew and his new wife's wedding. Lovely inside, never been before.

What a fantastic building this is full of history, you definitely get the feeling that you are not the only person who has ever gazed through those stained glass windows.We were lucky enough to be invited to the first ever Stoke on Trent Adult Learning Awards ceremony. It was a brilliant evening and great to see people from all walks of life getting recognition for the work and effort that they had put into their chosen subjects.
