Comfortable setting, great place to learn a new craft, owner is professional and friendly

Attended the fused glass making workshop at £45 per person to create up to 4 ornaments. The only guidance we were given was how to use the tool to cut up pieces of glass. Everything else was down to you. That’s great if you’ve done it before but as a beginner some more help or inspiration on how to make a certain item would have been appreciated. The person running the class was lovely but told us we would be left to it to do what we wanted and providing things to copy isn’t something she does. I wasn’t aware it was tea light holders we were making. The description for the class started ornament and showed a picture of a flat santa so I’d assumed it was a tree decoration or something similar, I should have done more research I guess but the description could be updated to state tea light holders for future bookings. Additionally I picked up the 8 tea light holders my sister and I made and two of them the front glass has come straight off the tea light holder itself which is very disappointing. We will have to try to glue a hanger on the back to turn them in to tree decorations instead.

Fabulous coffee at very reasonable prices. Very welcoming owner who bakes delicious cakes. Craft workshops also.

Excellent range of interesting courses!

I attended the Xmas glass fusing worship at ‘Crafts and coffee’ recently and had the best time. Lovely atmosphere, great teacher and really good coffee, thanks Ann can’t wait for the next one
