Shocking service, no customer service whatsoever, after chasing for updates i have now being given excuses of staff shortages and the scheme being shortened, mine will now not be done leaving me no time to find a contractor and losing my grant.what a way to treat disabled people

Excellent installer! They work fast and diligently and kept me informed at every step. Highly recommend

SFP were professional and hard working. The finished result is fantastic and makes such a difference to my home. There were a few admin blips in the beginning but once we had a date to begin they literally cracked on and did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend them, I’m so glad I had it done.

Sadly I was awarded the grant to have my house externally insulated but the government change the dates as to when the work needed to be completed by, and sadly SFP contractors couldnot get around to completing my house by October and sadly I missed out.Now the government has said it is giving the funding to local councils which is annoying, as a lot of council tenants earning more money than than me and get all their repairs done for nothing !!I am a single woman with disabilities, on a low income. This means I am not able to get my house insulated as I cannot afford over £12,500 and there is no time line or guidance to say when home owners will be able to apply for the grant again !!

Anyway, you have asked for my feedback, I didn’t go out of my way to write it up.The job was EWI via the green home deal the gov set up but it didn’t happen I lost the grant and the walls aren’t insulated. Now, things happens and they do go wrong from time to time. The gov grant was a shambles impacting many people not just me it also impacted many installers it was that bad.My issue with this company was around the poor communication. I was the one always on the phone asking for an update, after the update was due I wasn’t ringing everyday or every week even. I was told my job was due to start but it never did, the reasons given was a mixed one, some stuff the gov changed midway causing delay at this point it was no fault of the company at all but on the company side some of the reasons given didn’t add up with timings for when I was told my work was due to start and when the Gov changes was in place etc. The frustrations increased because I did my research, I found this company and I was happy to go with them. The quote and the initial comms was great but as problems came up I was left in the dark for weeks/ months without a single follow up email/ call. I have received my deposit back and it was a very smooth transaction I got the money the very next day. So the conclusion for me is that the government messed things up causing delays this was very unfortunate for both parts, however this company could have been better and clear when dealing with my quote and if that had been the case I wouldn’t mind going with them even without the grant after all I liked their service and I need to get the insulation done. If I have to pay full price I will go elsewhere based on the lack of comms as described above.When I finally gave up I left with many emails without a response until I got the one asking for the feedback. I wish them the very best but my experience wasn’t a good one.Kind regards

These guys work hard and quickly even though the weather was stacked against them. Alex is friendly, approachable and will answer any questions you may have. They did a good job, and left the site tidy on completion. I am very pleased with how our property looks it has added kerb appeal along with the benefit of added insulation and with the cost of gas and electricity rising a massive bonus. Would highly recommend.

Failed to complete works under the Green Homes scheme. Wasted a total of 11 months waiting for them and was provided with every excuse and lie under the sun. From the installers being pinched by Eon and other providers, to the weather and 'we're working on it'.In the end I found out that they had given priority to people from an old government scheme (who they had done the same thing to a long while ago) and took on extras just in case they had some space. The scheme should have been on a first come first basis and they have upset a lot of people.They also went as far as blaming the applicants for not reading the application properly with regards to 'planning permission'. What's funny though is that they completed the applications on behalf of the applicants when they were not supposed to.They should be held accountable for the lies, false promises and signing people up without any intention of carrying out the works.

Excellent job mainly due to the local builder Jerry Keane who ran the project. The site was kept clean and tidy caused us no problems. Jerry was always very polite and was also very particular everything has to be just so. He worked long hours to finish the job on time. Several people have commented on the finished job, it certainly stands out.
