Very positive experience. Ahead of a 90 min journey we noticed a slow puncture had developed. Bamford the chaps at Halfords made it an unstressful experience and managed to repair the puncture within 30 minutes for a great price.

Nice helpful guys and fun listening to their banter as they fix the cars, and they obviously know what they are doing.

I didn't go to the centre. I phoned about an order I had placed and they dealt with it immediately. Redirecting my parcel to my home address as I wanted. Very good service and also very good seat cushion for the car. Thankyou Veronica Parry

After my engine warning light came on, I arranged an appointment here for a simple diagnostic. After an initial delay (which was totally OK... and the team were very apologetic about) my car was taken in. Over the course of the day, the issue was diagnosed and a few other issues were noted with my car.I can't lie, it was upsetting as I've been having some serious finances issues, however the guy (Paul) I spoke with was great. He dealt with my barrage of questions and multiple calls and even arranged a simple payment plan option so I wasn't hit with paying a large lump sum.I picked my car up and, issues sorted (finances relatively intact), I can go about my day to day life.Thanks again.

Have my MOT done here every year, customer service is outstanding, online booking and payment outstanding, on time completion if not sooner aswell as email and txt updates..Halfords as always weather garage or shops has always in my opinion been outstanding, sign up online and get loads of discounts for this and that. Just a brilliant all round service from Halfords, thanks to all the hard working employees of all departments..

Very pleasant staffI had booked two tyres to be fitted dropped the car off 20 minutes before the appointment time came back 1.5 hours later and had to wait another 30 minutes until it was comleted.

Arguably they are more expensive than competition locally, but it's simply because they offer long warranties for their services. The friendliness of the front desk man and the general helpfulness of all staff make that extra 10% when you receive the bill worth it. Fortunately we have an NHS discount which means it's like for like as we receive a 10% discount. They are also really easy to book in with and stick to their timings religiously - I've never experienced a delay. Their communication about the issues and what they're doing to your vehicle is also fantastic which I really appreciate. I've used lots of garages in the area but always check with Halfords first before going elsewhere. Would recommend!

Booked for mot and full service. Not even reset the service lights.Request them to change two of the faulty bulbs were not changed. Not satisfied with the staff attitude . I am a Halfords premium motoring club member. Waste of money, don’t give to them any more.

Upon reviewing the ratings for Halfords, it appears that some customers may not be aware that they have been subjected to overcharging for repair services. In my personal experience, I was quoted a substantial amount of £898 for front coil springs at Halfords. However, I sought a second opinion from an independent garage and was astounded to discover that they only charged me £300 for the same repair, rendering Halfords' quote excessively expensive by £598.I must admit, the disparity in pricing between Halfords and the independent garage was quite surprising, and the latter even found humor in the significant price difference. During my interaction with Halfords, they conducted a complimentary assessment of my vehicle, which lasted for two hours. Regrettably, their subsequent quote proved to be exorbitant, leading me to seek the services of another mechanic.Contrastingly, the independent garage swiftly concluded their assessment within a mere two minutes and provided a more reasonable and honest quote for the required repairs.It is my belief that transparency and fairness in pricing are essential aspects of customer service. While I appreciate the complimentary inspection provided by Halfords, the substantial price discrepancy leaves a sense of dissatisfaction and raises concerns about the honesty of their practices. As a customer, I have come to realize that opting for a more candid and reasonably priced service provider can be far more beneficial in the long run.UPDATE: 02/08/2023Both front springs were done by an independent garage £275 ! Total with tax£112 for labour£116 for two front springsHalfords quote £898 price difference £623 would be interested in hearing your justification for this Halfords but I’m guessing you can’t defend the indefensible.I did email your head office about this but you have not responded so you also failed at basic customer service.One 5 star ⭐️ review states “yes its more expensive but it’s worth it for the extra 10%” In my case is 75% extra worth it ?If your reading this review you’ve been WARNED.Go to one of the garages on trull road.

Easy to book and got a slot the next day. Took the car in and the wheel alignment was done within an hour. They were very professional and helpful - definitely recommend them. So good, I have booked my other daughters car in for a brake check.
