I can't recommend John enough. Over the years I have received treatment from a handful of other practitioners, but John's patience, understanding and experience is what sets him apart from others. I have finally after years started to see positive progression as John really does tailor the sessions to YOUR body and needs. So many other experiences have left me feeling like the treatment has followed a 'script' despite any discussion beforehand, focusing the sessions more inline with relaxation than recovery. John has instead tackled the root of the issue and not just the symptoms, he's happy to take your lead on the depth of your treatment, which is something in the past I fear others have been afraid to do despite it being sold as deep tissue"...If you have been suffering with any mobility

John is an expert massage therapist who really know his stuff!! Not only does he do great body work, but he brings a wealth of knowledge and empathy to his work and draws upon his experience as a Qi Gong and Tai Chi teacher as well as life skills.He is one of my 'Go To' therapists.

I have experienced several massage therapists and John is head and shoulders above the rest. He is strong and can reach the parts others can't. Highly trained and highly experienced - I can't recommend him enough.

I have experienced many different types of massage over the years and John's technique is one of the best I have come across. He really knows how to read the body and find all the spots that need attention. I only wish that he was nearer to me - then I would be visiting regularly! I started going to see John for massage a fair few years ago for back pain issues. I'd been to see a few other masseurs before that, but had never been entirely happy with the results or, on occasion, the service. John is totally different though. His knowledge is huge, and he is always respectful and relaxed - he really lives what he does. He has the knack of finding the muscles and pressure points that need attention, and I always leave feeling grounded. John has the strength and skill to provide a really deep massage, but it's always done in a safe way and he seeks feedback as the massage progresses.On the first couple of visits John taught me some Qi Gong which I've practiced ever since. He helped me resolve the back issues I initially had - for the last few years I've been visiting John for 'maintenance', i.e. keeping me in good shape as the years advance! I can't recommend John highly enough.

I have had many sessions with John over the past 4 years, at his studio in Chapel Allerton. John has a wealth of knowledge and wisdom about different therapies and disciplines. I use my body all the time at work and as such, it gets tense and 'knotted up'. John has a way of finding the root of the problem, working to relieve the tension and leave me feeling soothed and relaxed. My back always thanks me for going to see him. Highly recommended!

I originally met John in 2007 in order to address a problem with tinnitus and tense neck/back/shoulders muscles. He provides an exceptionally high quality service and I have recommended both his deep tissue massage and nutritional advice services to many of my friends. I have lived in various cities within Europe since 2011 and still struggle to find anyone as talented and knowledgeable as John. He engenders peace and tranquility during any session which is felt through his presence, his spirit and his energy. Seriously no other massage comes close to the work that John does for me!

For massage therapy in Leeds, John has been brilliant as its helped with neck tension from my desk-based work and improves energy. The range of Eastern & Western massage styles offered are quite unique. Good to say how amazing I feel at the end of a massage session, just before you get off the table. John has a very positive state of mind.

John was absolutely brilliant. He knows so much about massage therapy and really is a specialist with extensive experience. He took the time to find problem areas in my back/neck and the perk of having a home massage meant I could just relax afterwards! I’d definitely recommend a home visit - the equipment is really quick to set up and not having to travel made the whole experience much more enjoyable!

I have had several massages from John and continue to have them approximately every three weeks. I experience Shoulder pain from an injury and have also suffered with Tinnitus and Anxiety. I find the sessions with John are extremely beneficial both on a physical and emotional level. He provides a very thorough treatment and I particularly like the deep tissue massage. He has a very pleasent and calming presence, and is very knowledgeable, empathic and understanding. I have incorporated my regular sessions with John into my healthy lifestyle, and find that the massages compliment my swimming and meditation practice. I always come out of a session feeling extremely relaxed and content. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Excellent!
