This statue is 1st Viscount Bernard Montgomery of Alamein. A World War Two Field Marshal and possibly the most famous of British generals who served in the war. Conqueror of the equally famous Erwin Rommel.This statue shows Montgomery in typical poses, arms clasps behind his back. The statues is close to fellow Field Marshals, William Slim and Alan Brooke.
