This place was on our road to Oban so stopped for a bite to eat before continuing our journey. Was lured in by the World Famous" Shark Toilet!! Kids loved it!Great food and friendly staff. Nice

Visited this cafe 2 weeks ago. Great cafe offering some terrific food. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I ordered americano and scone with cream and jam. It was homemade and tasted great. I will definitely visit again.

Fantastic cafe! The owners are so welcoming and friendly and have made so many wonderful changes to the Golden Larches inside and out!Always a good meal, excellent coffee and yummy cakes!The wood burning stove and the views make the conservatory area a very cosy and lovely place to sit! Also very doggy friendly and not to forget the amazing Shark Toilet! A must stop on the way up north, highly recommend

Just had a mid-drive lunch at the cafe, so can’t review the rooms. The hostess was so friendly and kind - I think she said “thank you” like 50 times during my 30 minute visit! Got a sandwich and coffee to enjoy in the conservatory area and grabbed a bakewell to-go (it was SO GOOD, worth the stop alone). Saw plenty of birds at the bird feeder and some deer in the back yard!

The Golden Larches Cafe and B&B
Came across this by accident when travelling to Fort William. Convenient place to stop and then we were very glad we did. Incredibly friendly staff, lovely cakes and a great location. We sat in a conservatory to have our tea and pancakes and it was so nice. We purposefully stopped on the way back so I could have the pancakes again. Will definitely be a future stop when we travel that way. Can't recommend highly enough.

My wife and I visited this delightful cafe just over a week ago on the way home from a week in Argyll. What a picturesque spot, with outdoor seating overlooking a gurgling stream, and plenty of parking - which had been recently landscaped most attractively!We had coffee, a scone and a tray-bake, all of which were delicious. We were intrigued by the shark toilet" reference!But what made the stop most memorable was the warm welcome and friendly chat we had with the owners. Andrea seemed genuinely interested in our feedback even as passing customers. We wish them every success in their new venture!"

The Golden Larches Cafe and B&B
Stopped for an early lunch and my wife and I thought the welcome and service was brilliant. Was surprised with the extensive menu, and the food being served certain whetted the appetite. We both had the fishcakes with chilli sauce,salad and chips, best fishcakes we'd had for years. Andrea and Tim, who only took over the place a year ago, have certainly turned it around. Used to drive past now when we are in the area no chance of that now. Will certainly be back sooner rather than later.
