St Peter's Church

St Peter’s church is a beautiful church in the picturesque little village of Milton Lilbourne.The church has gone through many stages of development, from wood to stone and to brick and is about 800 years old. As per the churche’s information leaflet, bells have rung in St Peter’s church since the 1600’s and five of the six bells have been ringing since 1789.The village Milton Lilbourne is very pretty with lots of beautiful houses and thatched cottages. There is a very nice little farm shop nearby, Lawn Farm Shop that sells a great selection of local food and products. If you visit Milton Lilbourne by bike I can definitely recommend to cycle to Wooton Rivers from there, which is another picturesque village with a nice pub and walks along the river Avon.
