Glazed Beauty

Had my nails done in Builder gel which at the time the woman was nice but after 6 days the gel started lifting and peeling off, it looked atrocious, I contacted the salon to be told I would have to wait 7 days to get this fixed as the woman who did my nails was only in twice a week. When I said I wanted them sorted sooner I was told I would have to pay an extra £14 even tho I paid £30 for them 6 days prior. I would avoid this place in the future.

Outstanding service and unbelievable quality every single time. Despite moving almost two hours away I still look forward to making the journey once a month for a full set of fresh nails. Never have a I been disappointed. I have followed this business from its humble beginnings to the beautiful salon it has become. I have come to see the girls has a gorgeous group of friends. Whether I sit down with a head full of crazy ideas or going for my usual pink glitter, I never leave with anything but perfection. Now they offer even more brilliant treatments I find myself spending more and more time there. There is no need to go anywhere else! The girls there are an asset, and everyone there should be majorly proud of all of their achievements. See you soon! xx

I had my nails done somewhere else for my wedding but didn't like them! Two days before the wedding Glazed saved the day by adding a sparkly gel which looked fantastic and was just what I wanted. They are really friendly, helpful and professional and I would totally recommend them.

Glazed nails has absolutely transformed my outlook on what a nail salon stands for. The staff are welcoming, and clearly love what they do as they truly radiate passion for fabulous nails and they have a real sense of community. I will often enjoy the moment of stillness whilst they concentrate on perfecting a design.I cannot praise the team enough for their dedication to a fabulous client experience, on many occasions we have the usual chit chat, but they are more than a 'how's your day?' team they really are your everyday ladies that have everyday experiences and they are more than willing to be an ear to listen to when you're trying to escape the real world and the most important decision in the moment is 'what colour?' which may I add, is forever hard as the colour range is fabulous and the glitter options are out of this world.On that note I cannot fathom other reviews that have been made and I do value each opinion however I do feel that as a POC I must disagree with what has been said and I must highlight that I have only ever had the most pleasant and refreshing experience and I most certainly will not be getting my nails done anywhere other than Glazed Nails. The best, nails, eyebrows, eyelash lifts and more.... the team are amazing and very experienced, Sophie the owner has really made an amazing business and I would not go anywhere else as I know her products are safe and she is 100% a perfectionist!

I have only had my nails done a few times before, and never by myself and was very nervous. The nails look lovely and were exactly what I asked for, but the customer engagement could be improved. Nothing was really explained to me, despite me telling them I was nervous and had not been there before and the staff sat chatting to each other while they did my nails rather than paying any attention to me. I was happy with the nails themselves and the price was reasonable, but I might try elsewhere in future.Edit to respond to the reply - my appointment was booked under Alice Troy

A friend recommended Sophie and her team and I've not been disappointed! Sophie is fantastic and her advice is honest, open and friendly and always two ways. The salon is always spotlessly clean and welcoming and I'm really pleased I've found somewhere I trust I'm getting great service and value for money.

I went to Glazed Nails with high hopes and expectations. I found the customer service lacking. Having spoken to a few friends, I came to realise I was not the only one who experienced poor service. The lady who did my nails was very quiet and unresponsive when I tried to make friendly chit chat with her coming across as cold. However, she was very happy to speak to Caucasian clients making very little effort with me. Having spoken to other people of various different backgrounds, I can only come to the conclusion the difference was due to my ethnicity. It's a shame, if you are going to be so narrow minded in the 21st century as you are missing out on custom. You have a great client base but its limited due to the customer service and staff attitude/underlying racism/discrimination. I certainly will not be recommending your business anymore. This is my honest opinion of the experience I had.
