First time for Sunday lunch. Pleasant staff and lovely old building. Limited to mainly Sunday lunch menu. Good variety of vegetables but found Yorkshire pudding a bit tough. I couldn't taste the garlic on the chicken. Although staff were nice service was slow and tables were only half cleared aft a time. We only had 2 courses and coffee and were in there for at least 3.5 hours.

Had a lovely Saturday lunch, the fish and chips were cooked beautifully and the atmosphere in the pub was very friendly. The slow walk around the village made a great after dinner stroll. Will be back.

Perfect lunch pit stop between Southampton and Glastonbury just off the A303. Recommended on P4N so decided to drop in to break up my drive. Lunch is served until 4pm. Lovely traditional English pub w/car park and side courtyard with hanging vines. Beautiful. Serves up a decent big pot of tea.Good value.Lovely village. Would like to return and explore on a nature walkabout.

Friendliest Inn owners we've met on our UK road trip! They are absolutely lovely people and even let us fill up our van with water. Would be back any time! Very nice exterior too: with beautiful plants. Inside it is very cosy.

We stopped off on the off chance they were open for food when passing, and so glad we did!!The food was amazing one of the best lamb shanks I’ve had in ages. And a lovely sticky toffee pudding and custard for afters. The wife had one of the burgers and a chocoholic dessert. Well worth the money and would definitely drop in for food if we were ever passing again.Very dog friendly as well.

Lovely pub, good atmosphere and food. A ' thriving' traditional village pub. Three course meal with a couple of drinks. Excellent value £60.

Lovely pub in a pretty little village. Staff very friendly and great service. Good choice on menu and offers more than standard pub grub. This pub is also ultra dog friendly so make sure you bring your pooch ☺️

Lovely traditional old pub. Made to feel very welcome and all the staff were really friendly. Good service, our meals arrived quicker than expected. The waiting staff were attentive without being overbearing. The portions were generous, and the roast beef was as good as I've ever had anywhere. The puddings were excellent also. Good value for money and without doubt we will be back.
