Visited tonight, and for a small shop they were exceedingly busy!we had a small wait for our food, but i must say we were very impressed. it’s lovely to see the food being prepared and cooked for you, as opposed to having wet, soggy fish that’s been left sitting up the counter for hours!thank you Callum & Ellie for great food tonight.

I don’t usually post bad reviews but I’d like to warn others before they also waste their money. Waited for 40 minutes for our food, only to arrive home to find parts of the order were missing. Called the chip shop and was told to send them a Facebook message, which wasn’t helpful. Mistakes like this happen but they were the worst chips I’ve ever purchased. They seem to befrozen oven chips that had been deep fried. We binned them because they were that bad. The portions were tiny; the picture shows a ‘large’ bag of chips.

The best fish and chips ever! Freshly cooked while we waited ( though we could phone ahead or order on social media). I have never seen such a clean and airy chippy before and the staff are great. 5 stars all round.

I really wanted this place to be amazing like the reviews but it was so disappointing! We were the first people to order when they opened and what we got wasn’t nice. All we wanted was fish and chips but the fish wasn’t cooked at the bottom and the chips were like oven chips. Absolutely dry - you could tap them on a table top and they wouldn’t break ! It was like they were left overs. No way were they fresh ! Will not go again.

Really looking forward to a nice chips and gravy , was really busy so was thinking must be good. Got home and the chips are not fresh cut potato chips but frozen. opened the gravy and looks like brown water. They need to thicken up that gravy for sure,
