Brought my Jaguar in for diagnostic/ repair.After not hearing back from the garage for nearly 6 hours i called them for an update only to be told that they could not diagnose or repair the fault.I was then left waiting nearly an hour when I returned to collect my still broken vehicle.No gear and clearly no idea!

Horrible condescending people. I hate them

Phoned 3 times for a price for work and never received a call back. Going to spend my money elsewhere.

Never again charges the earth terrible service came back worse 1000 pound down and wanted another 1000 pound a minor job

I took my XJS for a misfire diagnosis. The mechanic was younger than my car and didn't have a clue what he was talking about. He pointed to two parts he said were air temp sensors and were the problem, he actually pointed to two ignition boosters which weren't the problem and I replaced the air temp sensor just in case when I found out where it is and that's not the problem either. £230 wasted on bad diagnosis by a company who promised to look into it and have done nothing for two months. Useless company, avoid if you don't want to waste your cash.

When I had my car serviced I was told that my rear brake pads only had 15% life left on them and that they needed replacing a.s.a.p, at a cost of circa £250, plus VAT. On their advice I tried to book the car in for them to do the work a few weeks later, but despite having left numerous voicemail messages for them to call me back (as they never actually answer the phone) to arrange for the pads to be replaced nobody ever did call me back. In the end (and worrying about what might happen if I didn't get the pads replaced very soon) I went to a local (non-Jaguar garage) who put the car on a ramp and showed me that their test guage revealed there was actually less than 5% wear on the pads and they didn't need replacing at all, as they were hardly worn!!!!! Thank God they never called me back to book the car in with them, as I would have been royaly ripped-off if they had then replaced the pads completely unnecessarily. I'd like to think that it was simply an error on their part, but given that checking break pad wear appears to be very simple job 2minutes job, it is difficult to work out how that could happen, given the massive discrepancy between what they said and the actual reality....
