Very knowledgable staff with good high quality stock in hand. I usually buy everything on the internet but it’s stores like this with good prices and the ability to speak directly with an expert means I’ll only buy beds and mattresses from Abingdon Beds.

We struggled to decide on a mattress and had several visits to the showroom - Ashley was endlessly patient, answering all our questions and explaining all the benefits of different types of mattresses. Twice, they swapped mattresses onto different bases to see if that would help us decide! We were also given time to just spend trying out the products on our own which was appreciated. Delivery guys were very friendly and polite too - from AB, not just a generic delivery company. It’s rare to find great customer service these days but I would highly recommend Abingdon Beds- thanks for all your help and patience in finding our perfect mattress!

We urgently needed a bed and mattress for my father in law who was coming out of hospital the same day. They helped us sort it and within an hour and we are so grateful. We would thoroughly recommend.

Lovely service, good explanations for all the options. Mum was looking for an adjustable bed so she tried out the remote control and loved the massage option which is good for the circulation. She was not rushed and had time to process all the information. Very pleased.

Needed a mattress in a hurry, got served by Lee who was brilliant, not pushing for a sale but taking time to find our needs and narrowed down what they had that fitted those needs. Gave us a good deal on a nice comfy mattress and better yet, had it in stock (rolled up vacuum sealed) for us to take away that very same day which was fantastic! Free delivery was offered but it's great to have a bed place which keeps stock on hand to take away (no other place had this). Thank you Lee for your help and speedy service! Would recommend Abingdon beds to anyone, definitely worth a visit and next time will be our first port of call, nice stock and great service.

A genuine family run business operated by people who appreciate their customers, are a mine of information and get the process right from beginning to end. Great service in the shop and quick delivery carried out by careful and respectful staff. Love my new mattress and am just really happy with the whole experience.

Another fantastic purchase from a great independent shop ABINGDON BEDS!Just bought two ottoman bases to store all of our clutter!!The friendly advice on the type to buy really helped.Great quality and excellent service as always.Don't go anywhere else if you want a quality item at a great price.Thanks guys

I purchased this mattress in the photograph from Abingdon Beds and the workmanship of this mattress was unprofessional. It is still under guarantee but Abingdon Beds are not prepared to replace the mattress.Abingdon Beds had this mattress in the shop a long time and I had to chase up when they will be delivering the mattress to me. Never bothered to contact me to inform me the mattress was ready to be delivered.I would not recommend this company they are not as nice as people may think. I spent over £2,000 on this mattress and as you can see it is faulty. I asked for money off and they were only willing to give me £85 which is disgusting on the amount I paid.I spent over £5,000 in their shop and they are arguing with me that the mattress I paid over £2,000 for is acceptable and will not at all be replaced.If you have any problems with them you will see a different side to them
