Howdens - Clitheroe
Bought five oak veneer doors, three of them fire doors - Burford, very heavy - from the Clitheroe branch. Really good, helpful customer service. I'd been let down by two joiners and asked for recommendation, the lady I spoke to suggested Andrew Dickinson. He did a brilliant job, was very reliable, quoted a fair and reasonable price, and was upfront about an extra cost before he started the job - he'd been out once to quickly look, and I told him all the doors were 30. He came out again just before starting work and after measuring found that every door way was a different size

I have been to Howdens at Clitheroe several times over the last few weeks while we have been working on a project. Every time I have been in the staff have been fantastic, very friendly, positive and helpful, especially with the current situation. They were happy enough to cut pieces of wood down for me so that they would fit in the car, and taken them to the car and load them up for me.The last time I rang up for something they recognised me and when I got there to collect they had the invoice ready for me.I told them how happy I was with the service and they were thrilled, they said they always try to give 110% but very rarely get any feedback, which is such a shame.I would definitely recommend using Howdens over stores such as Homebase etc as they are more competitively priced and better quality goods.

Can’t fault the service from Howden’s in Clitheroe. I was having an extension and we had ordered some extra carcasses to fit my old doors to. Once delivered we found out my doors were an unusual size so Leon managed to get the full Utility cupboards from various stores to us the next day. I’ve been back in several times for bits and pieces since. I can highly recommend them and am so grateful to Leon in particular for going the extra mile
