Uninviting outside but absolutly full of carpets lino & floor coverings. Huge choice. Long time business. Friendly staff . Quick appts and bend over backwards to fit in with busy lives. Very temping prices resulting in repeat visits. Look forward to next fitting booked. Thankyou.

Got a really nice wool carpet remnant at a great price including fitting. Anthony is great to deal with. Plenty of remnants in stock, mine was 17' X 13' !

Anthony was excellent sorting out our carpets in our new place. Came round and measured up and brought some samples. Go for the Grand Prix carpet if you can its so soft! He then sourced some slight more cost effective carpet for the bedrooms. Our fitter Jack was very good and did a professional job. Highly recommended.

Needed a small bit of of Vinyl/lino flooring for my new small bathroom. Kashmir carpets didn't have the style I wanted. was about to go to Wicks but then saw this place on google. Good thing it was just around corner from where I was. Popped around. They had loads of off cuts of carpets and Vinyl flooring. Found the perfect one I wanted for cheap as chips! I was very pleased.He even allowed me to take it away and pay next time, as I didn't have cash. It was only £10 :) I appreciated it that he trusted me

Excellent service all round! We chose the carpet we wanted, after measurements had been taken, we were kept informed of progress throughout. Carpet fitters arrived as planned and did a great job, plus they were very helpful with moving furniture and cleaning up after themselves. We’re so happy with our new carpets, can definitely recommend this company!

This place is an Aladdin's cave of carpet and vinyl. With rolls standing and lying all over the place we were guaranteed to find what we needed. They seem to have endless patience and we left with numerous samples to test at home. The fitting was quick and very tidy with doors and thresholds being removed and replaced as necessary.I'd highly recommend Howkel for both floor and vinyl, ours has been fitted perfectly and are all high quality products.
