I came here for a wake so under the circumstances I wasn't really taking much notice of the decor but the staff were friendly.A spacious back room with a stage and bar. Lots of seating.The main bar area also quite large with a pool table and dart board.Ladies and Gents in the main bar area only.Private outside area backing onto the railway but I didn't look so can't advise.

Been here for a few party's now and been amazing. Cheap drinks and if your a member ( which we will be soon ) it's even cheaper. Great place!

I visited Ambleside Social Club for an 80th birthday party. The function room is very large and easily held a crowd of over 100 people.There is a spacious dance floor and a small stage which was suitable for a band of 4 members.There was also a separate room which held a large buffet and there is also a bar available.The only downside would be that the bar area is fairly small so you do have to wait when there is a large crowd.

I went to a Elvis Christmas party. It was great and if you are a member the drinks are cheaper. It has a large dance floor.

Over the years I've been here several times,always a party or family get together,Drink is reasonably priced and always a good atmosphereNo doubt will be back again at some stage
